1/2 cup olive oil(or canola)
salt and freshly ground pepper
How To Prepare:
1. Rinse okra. Remove caps. Cut pods into one-half inch slices, toss with meal.
2. Heat oil on med-high heat in large heavy skillet. Fry single layer of okra about 8 to 10 mins or until golden brown on all sides. Do not overcook or okra will become too soft. Turn carefully.
Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
