Baked whole onion. Great when camping or on the grill!
1 whole onion
2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Water
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
salt & pepper to taste
How To Prepare:
Peel onion, leaving root end on. Slice onion in 4-6 pieces, down to the root. Open up like a flower and place root side down in a baking dish.
Mix ingredients together and spoon over the onion.
Cover and bake in 400 degree oven for 45 minutes, or until tender.
