Fresh Green Beans for 2 or 3
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tsp Minced Garlic
1 - 2 Tbs Chinese Stir-Fry Sauce or Soy Sauce
1/4 Tsp Ground Red Cayenne Pepper
How To Prepare:
Wash beans & snap off ends, but leave whole. Place in a steamer rack & place down inside saucepan. Cover with lid. (Do not let the water touch the beans, just be level with steamer). Bring to a boil, reduce to LOW, then steam for 10 mins. Green beans should be crisp-tender. Place a bit of oil & butter (equal amounts) in a non-stick skillet, stir-fry the garlic lightly, but do not brown. Add beans & cook just a tiny bit to evenly coat & mingle flavors. Add sauce & cayenne pepper.
