A friend passed on this recipe--she brought it to a pot-luck and it was gone before the party was half over. I haven't added the carbs but looking at the ingredients there can't be a whole lot.
6 serrano peppers 2
1 bunch cilantro 10
1/2 c chopped yellow onion 5.5
8 oz cream cheese 6.5
1 cup mayo 6.5
1/2 cup cream 3.25
1 tbs. chicken bouillon granules
1/2 cup water
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
How To Prepare:
Remove seeds from peppers if desired.
Put the peppers, cilantro (remove stems) and onion in food processor. Add cream cheese. Pulse 1 minute. Add mayo. Pulse. Drizzle cream in with processor running. Microwave bouillong granules in water for one minute to dissolve. Add gelatin and mix well. Drizzle into processor while running. This can be poured into mold sprayed with Pam or just poured into a bowl and used as a dip or spread. This makes a bunch and can be frozen for later use.
