This is a variation of the "Real Aflredo Sauce" recipe in this section.
1/2 c. Butter
3/4 c. Heavy Cream
1/2 c. Parmesean Cheese
2 c. Shredded Cheddar & Jack Cheese
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
Onion Powder to taste
1-2 Eggs (depending on thickness desired)
How To Prepare:
Melt butter in sauce pan over medium heat. Add cream and mix. Add cheese and stir continuously until melted. Add salt, pepper, and onion powder to taste. Add Worchestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly.
In separate bowl, whisk egg(s) together. Add 1/4 c. of cheese sauce and whisk quickly until blended. Repeat several times. When egg mixture is warm to touch, add contents of bowl to the rest of the cheese mixture and mix well. Sauce should thicken up.
Great over veggies or chicken. If reheating in a microwave, do it only for 30 seconds and mix until mixture is uniform.
