Description:

Ingredients:
|
10 each tomatillos, whole
2 each jalapeno peppers, whole
1 each small onion (cut in quarters)
1 each green pepper (cut into sections)
5 each cilantro leaves, whole
|

How To Prepare:
|
The tomatillos come with like a paper covering (like a brown left) around it...First thing you need to do is peel this off and throw the paper away. Put the tomatillos, jalapeno peppers, onion, and green pepper in a pot of water and boil for about 10 minutes. Drain. Take all the ingredients and put in a blender with the cilantro and blend well. Pour into a container and chill for about 3 hours or so. Makes about 3 cups
This can be used for a sauce on steak and other meats. Pork rinds and veggies and eggs. Please note the carb content is for the whole 3 cups. So it is very low in carb content considering it is a dip and not much is used at a time. And you can also subtract fiber which makes 1/4 cup of dip only about 2 carbs.
