1 tsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Worchestire Sauce
1 Bay Leaf
1/2 tsp red wine vinegar

1/8 tsp Tarragon
1/8 tsp Fennel

How To Prepare:
|
I use Hunts roasted garlic tomato sauce as it has only 3g total carbohydrates in it. you can use what you want, but your carb level will be different, all other ingredients do not add any carbs. 1 clove of fresh garlic finely chopped can be used instead of garlic powder (and it will taste better!)
Pour the wet ingredients together in a small saucepan on low heat and add the bay leaf (1/8 tsp ground bay leaf if you dont have whole leaves.) let this simmer a bit until warm, now add all the other spices stirring completely. let this simmer about 10 to 15 minutes covered to get the flavors intermingled.
if you want a bit of a kick, add 2 dashes of hot sauce to the mixture if you would like it milder adding 1 packet of splenda near the end will soften the flavors / sweeten it a bit. (splenda only... some sweeteners do bad things when cooked.)
if you let this simmer with the lid off the sauce will get thicker.
