Ingredients:
|
2 pounds of thick-sliced bacon
8 oz.sour cream
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. bottled Italian dressing
5 cups torn romaine lettuce(or 2 heads)
4 large ripe tomatoes
crushed pork rinds, as garnish

How To Prepare:
|
Fry bacon till crisp. Drain bacon, and cool it on paper towels. Crumble bacon and set it aside.(Hot bacon will wilt lettuce)
Mix together sour cream, mayo and Italian dressing in a small bowl and set aside.
Place torn lettuce in a clear 9x13 dish.
Core the tomatoes and coarsely chop them. Place tomatoes over the lettuce.
Sprinkle cooled, crumbled bacon over the tomatoes.
Spread the dressing out with the back of a spoon to cover the salad.
Cover the salad and CHILL for 4 hours before serving.
If desired, you can sprinkle the crushed pork rinds over the salad just before serving.
