Enjoy the 4,000+ Low Carb Recipes!!!
This is my own take on the classic pasta dish that legend has it that Homer lived on this while writing the Iliad.
This is really quick and easy recipe that will fill your up!
1/2 box low carb linguine pasta
1 stick butter
either mizithra or other hard low salt low water content cheese
1 small pinch garlic if desired
How To Prepare:
1) Boil pasta
2) Brown your butter in a separate pan. Be careful not to burn the butter. It will look a lot like hot bubbly oil right before it browns. It literally will take seconds to turn from a yellow-ie color to the light brown. Be ready to dump your browned butter into drained noodles. Add your garlic at this time if you wish.
3) Take your hard cheese and finely grate it. One handful of this, or more if your like me, on top of your noodles on your plate, and your done. Add S&P if you want.
Number of Servings:
Carbs per serving - include all nutritional information if known:
the main source of carbs in this comes from the LC pasta. Mizithra cheese has almost none per serving.
