Lasagna without the noodles to bust that Garfield craving we all get...
2 pounds ground beef
1 jar Classico florentine (spinach) sauce
(or any lower carb spaghetti sauce)
16oz tub of whole milk ricotta
3 cups shredded mozzarella
About 2 TB olive oil
How To Prepare:
Brown the ground beef and then drain.
Add the whole jar of sauce and simmer for a few minutes. Take the meat sauce mixture and pour it into a 13x9 casserole dish. Spoon the ricotta on top and press with either your fingers or the back of the spoon to kind of flatten the cheese on top of the meat mixture. Now cover the whole thing with the mozzarella. Drizzle the olive oil over the top of the whole thing and pop in a 350 oven for about 45 minutes. The top will be all browned and bubbly. YUM!!!!! Tastes great the next day and freezes well too.
