Description:
Good change of pace for something different to do with shrimp. (Can be used with chicken tenders also)
Ingredients:
1 pound of shrimp (med to large - peeled, deveained and boiled if grilling... peeled and devained NOT boiled if baking in oven))
1 stick of butter
1 minced clove of garlic
Frank's Hot Sauce or Lousiana Hot Sauce (to taste)
How To Prepare:
Prepare shrimp if not already prepared. (I usually get raw devained shrimp at Wal*Mart,(I peel them and boil them myself, they (Wal*Mart) can even boil them for you I think)
If grilling put boiled shrimp on skewers. If baking in oven, spread out un-cooked shrimp on foil lined pan, jelly roll pan works well but some sort of casserole dish would do also (foil is used for easy cleanup)
(if baking..preheat oven to 350 degrees)
Melt butter add garlic and hot sauce (I usually use a 1/4C to a stick but you can add as you like)
When grilling baste shrimp several times. Shrimp is already cooked so you should not have to grill for long.
When baking poor mixture liberally over shrimp and bake until shrimp is no longer transparent but pink. Do not over cook or shrimp will be rubbery, about 15 min tops I think.
Put on plate enjoy. You can use this as an appitizer or a main course...
