Ingredients:
2 pasilla chilis, or one small can diced green chilis
1 c. cheddar
1 8 ounce cream cheese
2 eggs
small can "green sauce" often called salsa verde
pork rinds
extra cheddar
How To Prepare:
If using pasillas, slice open, remove seeds and toss. Slice and dice into small pieces (watch your hands and eyes, these are spicy). Saute in butter or olive oil until softened. Place in large mixing bowl. (If using canned chilis, place in mixing bowl). Stir in the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, 2 eggs, and can of salsa verde. Mix well. Pour into greased pie plate and sprinkly on small additional cheddar shavings and crushed pork rinds. Bake at 350 for 30 min. Make sure filling is cooked.
