Fried String Cheese

Description: Place 1 tsp of olive oil in small frying pan (6-7inch). Place 5 sticks of string cheese in pan. Sprinkle with italian seasoning and garlic salt. Fry till melted and slightly brown then flip and cook other side till slightly brown. Remove from pan and put 2-3Tablespoons of Pace picante sauce on top. You can add any kind of pizza topping u like while cooking ie: pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers ect. Simple pizza topping snack made when your in a hurry. About 6 minutes total cook time.

Description: It's not Kosher, but it sure is pasta & it's so good! Chorizo is a sausage that has a bit of a kick to it. If you're brave & like the heat, go for the whole chorizo sausage link (or even 2)instead of the bulk pork sausage in this recipe. The creamy pasta sauce is not only flavorful, but really pretty too. I was inspired by the sale of chorizo at the market and determined to make something good and low carb.

Description: I got the original recipe off of the official Atkins site but that one was too watery. I've been making a modified one: 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries 2 scoops of strawberry protein powder (I use Atkins) 1 cup of water 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream or 1 cup of unsweetened soymilk (If you use soymilk instead of whipping cream only use 1/2 cup of water) 8 drops of Liquid Splenda or 2 TB of Splenda 1 t of vanilla extract or flavored sugar-free syrup Put all ingredients in a blender & blend until smooth. Pour in a glass, get a straw & enjoy! This is very yummy & I drink one for breakfast almost every morning or as a post workout snack! If you want a more creamier shake you should use soymilk instead.
