Thanks for the nice comments. I'm actually 29 but in my before picture I look a lot older - sort of on purpose because of my job at the time - glasses and conservative haircut - changed those and lost some weight and presto - I'm a new man =) Gotta add another picture to the list - I'm down to 150 lbs - yay! Best wishes to you all!

Some tips: I did the induction phase of the Atkins diet until I got fairly close to my goal weight; I was very strict about this in that I limited my carb intake to only 20 grams or less. I eat lots of protein - chicken wings, steaks, cheeseburgers without the bun and without ketchup, summer sausage, and I drink 2-3 pitchers of water. For a snack, I eat Macademia nuts. A few times a week, I'll have a grilled chicken caesar salad. I don't exercise - I lost all my weight as a result of following the diet strictly. Since I've lost the weight, I should be in the maintenance phase, however, I find myself eating the same foods I was eating as in the induction phase. For a treat, once in a while, I'll buy a Russell Stover low carb candy bar. This may or may not work for you - just telling you what worked for me. Good luck!
