Carbs for period?

Long story people but in general, did not have a period for 8 years from not eating enough. Switched to hflc and got a period last dec jan. then.... Nothing until this month. Do you think we have to eat carbs for women's health? I really don't want to include them but I keep reading that they are necessary?

Peace, you can get estrogen surges from fat loss, but eating low-carb seems to even things out for most women. As your body adapts you may become more regular.

Thanks everyone. Just working on my macros to see if I need more fat.

I also have read that IF is good for hormonal balance?
