Shana twins usually result in higher HCG levels. Were your betas high?

Hi Ladies!
Just realized I haven't logged into LCF in forever! And you all don't have the update on Rose.
She is almost 17 months now. Around 6 months she had an MRi showing she's missing part of her brain. Not a big deal, lots of people are missing that part and are fine.
However, she has since been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She doesn't sit, crawl or walk. She's learning to roll right now and getting good at it! She can't feed herself, hold a bottle or a toy. She may never walk according to docs, but all signs are pointing towards her being able too! She gets therapy 4-5 times a week and is working hard!
After her 1 year MMR Vaccine she had two seizures which resulted in 2 hospital stays and she is now medicated for seizures and hasn't had any since. She also got the measles from her MMR.
She's beautiful and a HANDFUL. But we love her so much! So grateful for our beautiful baby girl. I had to quit my job after the seizures. Things have been really tough and we are struggling. But I love that I can be with her around the clock! If you pray, please keep her in your prayers!

Hello Lori! Rose is just BEAUTIFUL

Dominick is also a special needs baby, and DH had to quit work to stay home with him.

Thanks for updating. I've been wondering about you guys.

Rose is just beautiful! You guys are doing an awesome job. I can only imagine how tough it is. I hope she continues to blossom!

This is the last week of my maternity leave. Even though I knew it was coming, I'm feeling very emotional. I've been home with him for the last 8 months. It's going to be hard

I agree, Rose is beautiful. Thank you for taking the time to update us. I'm glad that she is doing so well! Doctors don't know everything. Keep going Rose!

Well, so much for my month off. I ended up at the specialist today. I started bleeding really heavily this weekend (day 14-15 of cycle) and called his exchange. He said he was glad I called and wanted to see me.

I went today and apparently I haven't ovulated this cycle, and possibly last. He was really disappointed in what he saw, which was two large old eggs sitting in my ovary. He said we have to wait for them to I guess kind of self destruct before a new will grow.

I have to Monday for blood work to see if my estrogen has rose (meaning a new egg is growing) and call Tuesday for the game plan.

I'm so frustrated at this point.

Hi Lori! I had been wondering about baby Rose.....so glad you checked in! She is beautiful, and it sounds like she is getting amazing care (most of all, having mommy with her although I know it's been hard with all the life changing events happening). She is still as beautiful as her last pictures I saw and that hair!!! Sending prayers to you guys!

Lori that baby girl is so CUTE! I keep looking at that pic of her snoozing on the couch she is so funny! It sounds like she's doing great now and is very well taken care of! Her complications sound scary, I hope you guys are taking good of yourselves as well. It is so hard on mom and dad when baby is sick. Hugs to your family.

Lori I am not too frequent around this board, but I'm due with my little one #3 in a few weeks, but I remember hearing about Rose before. Glad to hear an update, and she looks like you are doing an amazing job with her! May she continue to thrive beyond doctors wildest expectations.

I had posed the question earlier to a specific poster, but curious if anyone here is doing or has done lc while nursing and how it went for you? Due w/ #3 in Nov and in the past I gain as much while nursing as I do while pregnant so wanting to try LC but have read conflicting accounts online via various sites. Any input and opinions would be appreciated, thanks!

My first set of blood work came back that I had not ovulated yet. However, they had me come in again and did another set of blood work and I did actually ovulate this month!

Just that alone is a big weight off my shoulder.

We are actually taking a break from the specialist now that that issue is resolved.

1. I think the hormones are what messed my body up and I feel like my body needs a break.

2. DH's work closed down. This week is his last week there. He does get a severance package, but we want to make sure he gets a new job before continuing to spend money at the specialist. I'm positive we are at least $1,000 into this process since April.

We will continue to try at home and I will stay on my folic acid med (and of course the vitamins).

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to get on here lately and update. The ultrasound went great! There is o lying on little bean growing in there, which we're happy with. I'm measuring right on track and we even got to see some movement! Next scan is the 18th, then I'm released from my RE. I've been struggling with severe morning sickness the past few weeks and had to get a unisom/vit B6 prescription. It's kind of helping. I'm just trying to keep hydrated. I also started back to work this week. It's been exhausting! I'm 9 1/2 weeks and hoping the 2nd trimester brings some relief!

Shana - So happy to hear the news!

Debbie - How is little Dominick?

Lori - we are in touch on FB, Rose is such a beauty!

Suzie - So glad you are working through this at your own pace.

CJ - How is that gorgeous daughter of yours? I need a pic!

Sharon - Lets see those boys! They must be big boys by now.

Jesse - I cant lose weight to save my life while nursing. I maintain very well though. I just make whole food choices and do the best I can. I am still nursing DS2 and will until he is 12 - 14 mo just like with DS1 then I am focusing on myself and getting this weight off once and for all!

Wesley was 8 mo on the 6th. He is such a doll and loves getting his pic taken!! Harris on the other hand is 3yr 8 mo and wont sit still for the camera anymore. Boo! Here is my little chubba lubba:

Please forgive the pic overload I couldn't choose just one!

On the way to the zoo with my mom and some of my aunts.

Playing with my brother at my uncle's farm.

Supporting my little bro's alma mater, he gave that shirt to her for Christmas.

My favorite pic of her right now.

Gah these babies are just TOOOOO CUTE. Seeing little brothers together almost makes me want another

I still can't believe Wesley and Miles are 4 days apart That hair tho!!!! My little baldie is finally getting some in

We still have to remind ourselves that he was born almost a month early and does do things a little slower. He isn't behind at all, but I've noticed that things that most babies can start doing at say, 7 months, he starts doing it toward the end of the month. It is all good and will even out in the end. He is so fun right now. It is so neat to watch him explore his little world and figure out how things work. My husband is still staying home with him and that has been great. Being back at work has been really hard. I miss my guy so much. He is just such a sweet, easy going little guy.

Here are a couple of pics. I can't believe we don't have ANY pics of the 3 of us as a family lol We have a photo shoot scheduled for next month so that will be nice to get some real pics taken

OT: How many weeks now? How exciting, can't believe it's happening for you!

Andi: You are gonna have to take that picture down of Mr. Wes. He is so cute I could about explode looking at him. Those chunky cheeks, omg!

Happycat: I loooove those toddler smiles on your boys!! Gosh so cute, are you loving have them close in age? We were planning on 3 years apart or so but now I'm thinking that's too long.

Stargirl: Miles is such a cutie and he seems to be doing awesome! Do you think he'll be blonde? Hannah was bald for ages, hmph. Her hair is growing in thicker now and at 15 months she was able to do her first pigtails. All the other little girls at daycare have had pony's for ages! And some of the little boys have big boy haircuts :sob: Who are all these big kids?

You know, initially, it was super hard. I mean, it still is. But would I change it? NO WAY! They are best friends, Ethan tries to do what his older brother does (not succeeding all the time of course, lol). They are so close and I am actually jealous that they get to grow up with a built in best friend. I'm 3 years younger than my brother, and we just aren't as close as I'd like.

It also helps that Brandon (the almost 3 year old) pretty much potty trained himself back around Easter time. I was prepared for such a huge battle, but he just kind of did it on his own. So, having only one in diapers makes it easier now. I'm sure Ethan won't be so easy, I can only get that lucky once I think!

Here's a picture of the two of them from last weekend. They have a ton of toys, yet the storage tote is their most favorite right now!

I have been a lurker, may need to officially subscribe soon, as we're coming to the end of the 2ww and I had some pretty possible (but I think definite) implantation bleeding today...
I have been super strict with my food and am trying to exercise for at least 30min, 5x a week to get myself as healthy as possible for a baby...
the plan in my head was that we would wait until my I was smaller to have a baby, but we made the decision to throw caution to the wind and will see where that left us at the end of the week...
congrats to all the ladies who have had their babies, they're all so cute! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about you all and seeing how much you have supported each other.

How exciting! Welcome!! When are you expecting your period? I got a positive 5 days before mine was expected on a first response early result, they are really accurate! That faint positive is now a 15 month old little girl You should try one!

Congrats! And I used first response in the past too. I like the ones that tell you the weeks, even though we know (usually) exactly when conception happened I'm having my third baby girl exactly one month from today.

I thought it was implantation bleeding, turns out it was probably just my period that came early because of the stress... I feel kind of absurd for not reading my body's signs correctly, but at least I'll have a little more time to get off some more weight.

Hi all! Just checking in, it's been awhile. I now have a 3 year old and a 2 year old. How on earth did that happen? Time flies so quickly!

You know who I was wondering about? What's going on with Jillybean? Has anyone heard from her?
