Sometimes I feel Stella will never truly sleep. She goes to bed so easily and her first 2 feedings a night are easy and fast...I don't want 2 feedings a night though!
She turns 4 months on Sunday and has her checkup Wednesday. Ill probably start some solids after that in the evening and just hope it holds her longer. How does 6 ounces of formula not hold my 11 pound baby longer than 4-5 hours at night?!

Brooke rarely does 6 oz, 5 is her absolute max and only grandma can get her to eat that much. But if I put some rice cereal or oatmeal in her bottle she sleeps hard afterwards, so that's been our nighttime bottle. She sleeps good but still rousing around 5-6am. last night we had the AC on for the first time and her little hands were cold when i checked on her. I know I'm gonna have to move her to her crib soon as she's quickly outgrowing the bassinet, but my heart just won't let me yet, I don't want her too far from me!

She's been rocking on the baby food. apples, bananas, squash, sweet potatoes, carrots... however, the prunes were a diaper blowout so i'm not about to put that back into rotation unless necessary.

I've had a cold for the last week, doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Rose seems like she isn't feeling well the last two days. Even had a slight raised temp two nights ago and had to give her Tylenol. I feel so bad. I have no idea how I can protect her catching colds from me!

We will start cereal on Wednesday after her checkup. I'm going to spoon feed it though. I never pit food in my sons bottle

It looks like I'm about done breastfeeding. My supply is way down and the bottle holds her much longer. I'm going to try to keep doing it at least once a day so she gets some breast milk. Yesterday she had 25oz and then breastfed once.

Rose slept 6 hours last night, in fact she's still asleep. Going on 6.5 hours. Of course I chose this night to have insomnia. It's going to be a long long day.

DP you have been such a trooper through Stella's feeding/breastfeeding problems. You have really shown me how much work it can be, I just assumed breastfeeding would be easy and at the most it would take us a week or two to figure it out. I hope I can be as persistent as you

Eeeeeek!

I can really use all the sticky baby dust and prayers you guys can muster. I got these very faint BFP's after I thought I was out for this cycle. I am either 11 DPO or 13 DPO (I had a stair step chart so its questionable) but I fear that the lines are too faint and that may not be a good sign.

Andi, my fingers are crossed and to me that looks like a line! My first test I took was sooo faint. I never realized that you could get such a faint line and have it be positive.

Baby dust baby dust baby dust!!!!!

Came in here originally to ask you ladies what you wore to your baby showers? I am browsing around and leaning towards a dress in a spring color.

ETA: I looked again and that is positive, I'm sure of it!

Andi, fingers crossed, legs crossed, baby dust all over!!! I hope it's for realsies and truesies!

CJ, I would wear a cute springy maxi dress and a little sweater shrug. That's how I got through all last summer was those maxi dresses. And as a tomboy, it was unbelievable for anyone who saw me.

It's SMU but FMU was exactly the same. I am FREAKED! I wont deal with a chemical very well at this point so I am hoping its just late implantation.

I also wore a long maxi to my shower. My ankles were puffy so I wanted them covered.

Thank you very much.
Honestly it was never easy for me, even with my son. It's actually been easier with my daughter because I'm more relaxed about it. I'm just not one of those women who wants to sit with a baby attatched to me 24/7, and that's what my kids wanted

I wore a long black skirt and a nice top to my shower. Just be comfortable!

Oh andi!! I'm hoping this is it for you

I think it looks a little darker today!

I tried a digi and got an error message. I googled the instructions and I think I messed it up. I may go out and get another just for funsies and because I really want to see it say pregnant!

Thanks so much ladies, this is really out of nowhere for me because I had already resided to the fact that I was out this cycle. My only guess is that I truly did O 2 days later than my chart says. Or I had a late implantation, is that even possible?

Im going to call the doc and see if I can get some blood work done and a progesterone check. Of course I am a nervous wreck after the last one ended in a loss.

Believe me I know it's hard, but try to enjoy every minute of this. You've waited a long time! Get in and get your blood work done - then just relax and enjoy.

Aaaahhh, Andi, how exciting!!! Of course late implantation is possible. It could've just taken the little bean a little longer to travel down the fallopian tube and get comfy. Congrats!!!! I'm excited for you!

CJ, I second the maxi dress. Those things are perfect for prego ladies. I just found a very pretty one at Nordstrom Rack that I plan on wearing to my cousin's wedding in a few weeks.

So, my belly is growing at warp speed. I'm glad though, because I'm ready to look full on pregnant, instead of bloated. This is definitely one of the perks of being prego with twins! I'll probably be eating those words in a few months.

So the ped had us take Rose to the ER last night, that was the worst experience of my life. So heart breaking. She's ok though!

Rose just hasn't been herself. I have a mild cold and I figured she had caught it. One day really fussy, the next really calm, almost too calm. Then Sunday she spent all day sleeping, and was very lethargic. So we called the Pediatrician Sunday night and she was very concerned and told us to take her to the ER.
That was the most heart breaking thing ever. They tried to draw blood, and failed on the first attempt. They tried to insert a catheter for a urine sample and failed. It was so hard to see her go through all that pain. I seriously felt like grabbing her and walking out. The (male) nurse, after failing called a lab tech for the blood draw and decided instead of a catheter to just put a bag over her pee pee to collect a sample. I really wish they had gone that route the first time! We were there til 3am. Only to be cold she might have a virus but is ok. And she MIGHT have a UTI, the test was inconclusive so they have to send it for a culture. They gave her a shot of antibiotics just in case. Poor baby went thru so much poking.

She did get her revenge though! When he was trying to put in the catheter and failing....she pee'd and it squirt all over the bed and on the nurse!
