I hope the baby cooperates! What is your guess?

I think I was told before that I have a tilted uterus, and was told it might be difficult to conceive, but I don't remember which DR told me that or when. I hope that was the reason. I've been having some cramping, but it feels like growing pains , so I'm . I keep wondering if my thyroid is off, but fatigue is normal during pregnancy. I hope that's not the reason the baby isn't growing. I've lost weight though, so if it was off, that would definitely not happen.

I was also told that my uterus contracts really strongly so childbirth should be a breeze... I don't think it's ever a breeze!

CONGRATS Alie! Little boys are so much fun!!!!

Everyone is convinced that we will have another little boy. I would be thrilled with 2 little boys but I would also be happy with one of each! I guess we will find out in January!

Carlini - Yep, your growing ute is pushing everything up and out. I was able to feel mine when it was at about the same level as my pubic bone. Now, I cant find it under my spare tire. My last doc used to do like a karate chop on my belly then slide the side of her hand down until she felt the top of it. Obviously, I am not able to do that on myself but I try! Im pretty sure it is now above my belly button.

Are you at least going to try some of the old wive's tricks? Like the gold pendant over your belly? There is no way I could wait...I'm impatient and a planner. I admire you!

Congratulations, Stargirl! I'm glad everything went well at your appointment. That must be a huge relief!!

Andi, I carry most of my extra weight in my stomach. I know I'll have a squishy bump!

Sigh. This 2WW is the worst, knowing we finally have a legitimate chance. Seriously, how early can I test? lol I need to have DH hide the tests until next week. I go in for a progesterone test tomorrow, but that's only going to tell me if I "ovulated well."

We finally told my parents we were trying and about the IUI. They live up in Washington and came down to visit. I had the IUI appointment on the day of their arrival, so I kind of had to. We haven't told many people we're trying, just a couple we're really good friends with and my husband's parents. My mom has a hard time keeping secrets and tends to gossip a lot, so we really didn't want everyone back home to know. She's really bad about sharing news that's not hers to share. :/ I love my mother, but I am fully aware of how she is. I also don't want a bunch of people to update all the time. It's hard enough not being pregnant month after month and having people ask if/when we're going to start a family.

Back to obsessing over symptoms and how may DPO implantation can occur!

Yay a BOY!! Was it obvious on the ultrasound? We want to save it for the gender reveal, but I'm afraid we'll see it clearly on ultrasound!

Andi, thanks for sharing. I'm glad I'm not alone. I KNOW I could feel it before, and now I can't.

Sounds just like my mother in law!! Welcome to the 2WW, also known as hell. I got a VERY faint positive on 9DPO. Keep us posted!

Good luck, Shana! Fingers crossed for you.

Debbie- we really had no idea what we were looking at, and I studied boy ultrasounds for days before this appt I think it is just so overwhelmingly awesome to see your little babe up on the screen, we were just taking it all in and the tech says- here it is! Even then she had to circle it for us. lol. It is such a weird angle they can tell from. It wasn't like a profile or anything. I would just stress up front that you don't want to know.

Shana - Fingers crossed lady! I always suggest waiting until 12 DPO to test. You should have a pretty clear result by then.

Debbie - I thought I knew u/s pretty well but with each of mine, I had no clue what I was looking at!

Alie - Congrats on your baby boy!! How exciting!

Debbie - That is great you liked the birthing center. That is the route we were going to go, until we risked out b/c of twins. We did a gender reveal, and just told the tech that we didn't want to know at the appointment, and asked her to write the genders down. She gave us a heads up before the u/s went between the legs so that we could turn away. Gender reveals are so much fun!

Shana - Ug, I remember that looooong TWW all too well! The first part of your cycle just flies by, but that luteal phase takes an eternity.

Thanks guys!

Sutton, he is 2. He will be 3 on January 8 and I am due on Jan 12 so they will be exactly 3yrs apart. We havent really told him much about the baby because we read that its best to wait until later or until they ask about your big belly. A month seems like an eternity to them so waiting is advised.

DD80- the fact that you are still having symptoms is a great sign!!! I definitely kept having symptoms. We decided to wait 2 weeks to have another ultrasound and it was a really hard wait but deep down, I just knew my little man was growing in there.

Makes sense. My sister, who is pregnant, will have the same spacing as you. Kaden, my nephew, will turn 3 in October, when she is due. They've been telling him about the baby since day 1, even though he doesn't understand what's coming. He seems to think a baby is similar to his dog, and it will be a pet. He's even made comments that the baby can sleep with his dog. They recently setup the crib and pack n play, and Kaden wants to be in them all the time.

Yeah at first we told DS that he was going to be a big brother and that Mama had a baby growing in her belly. He gave us the weirdest look and then lifted my shirt for a looksie and then forgot about it!

I hope so. I had a bit more appetite this morning. I'd normally welcome the change, but with the circumstances at hand, it scares me.

I'm now four days late, but the test came up negative this morning.

I'm just frustrated at this point, and upset. I wish my period would just start on time, if I'm not pregnant. Why give me the empty hope?

I'm going to gauge these next few days. If I still haven't started at the 7 day mark, I will test again. If still negative, I will probably give my doctor a call just to see what he thinks.

DD80- are you still having cramping or other symptoms? I never got MS myself

Suzie- that is so frustrating I would definitely talk with your doctor at this point. Maybe your cycles are a bit longer now? Perhaps you are ovulating a lot later than you used to.

Stargirl - Thank you for thinking of me! I am still having symptoms - food aversions, nothing sounds good, heartburn, some queasiness, and lots of fatigue. I have no energy! So annoying. I had some brown spotting just now, but I also feel like I've been having growing pains, so maybe that's it. Trying to stay positive.

Suzie - I'm sorry you are having a rough time. I hope you get it all figured out soon! Dr is a good idea!

Suzie, you're probably ovulating later then you think you are. Do you track your basal body temp?

I'm having cramps, aches, stretching pains, and some other sensations I can't really describe. Hopefully the baby is growing a lot right now. My next appointment is on Friday, and will include an ultrasound. Hopefully the baby cooperates and shows us the goods! Most of us think it's a boy, but DH has now changed teams and thinks it's a girl. We'll see who's right!

Exciting Debbie! Do you have any feelings about the sex? I always knew I was having a boy...but then I started doubting myself because I wasn't sure if it was really an intuition or because I just really wanted a boy.

I've been having trouble finding a comfortable position to sleep. I can't sleep on my stomach anymore bc I can feel my uterus now and it's just getting too big. Paranoid about sleeping on my back bc of the "risks". And when I sleep on either side my arms fall asleep and when I wake up they are really sore. So annoying.

I think itís a boy. Iíve had that feeling since the beginning. No experience, but Iíve heard that body pillows are a life saver. Might be worth a try.

Suzie - I wouldnt be surprised if you are ovulating later than you used too.

Stargirl - Body pillows rock! Just a cheap $10 from Target will do the trick.

My next doc appt is Thursday. I havent received the authorization for my anatomy scan and I have called the doc's assistant twice. I guess I will just speak with the doc on Thursday about it. Lots of aches and growing pains here too. My commute into the city is getting harder and harder. Im hoping I can do a modified schedule and work from home a couple days a week as I get further along.

Andi, I saw on the PG that you will be moving. I'm excited for you. I know you've been wanting to do this for a long time.

I would love to work from home, at least one day a week. It won't happen here tho. My company is stuck in the 1980's. I hope your work will accommodate you.
