How do you know you're in Menopause with PCOS???
I think I may be done, but with life long irregular periods, how do I know? :dunno:
For the first time since I was a teenager, I haven't had any PMS twinges since my last period in October. PMS symptoms were constant (sometimes worse, sometimes subtle) even when there were long times between periods (as long as 9 - 10 months apart in my younger days).
So could I be done? How am I supposed to know?
I'm a little sad, but also looking forward to being done with messy surprises, cramps, and mood swings.
I'm 53. I've had a couple of FSH tests. One was at the higher side of normal for a menstruating woman, and the next test it was lower. FSH is supposed to go way up in menopausal women, but who knows if you have PCOS??? And the last test was about 1 year ago, so things could have changed since then.
