Easy, quick, cheap UTI cure!
This is not even remotely LC related, but I had to share. I've had UTI's for close to thirty years now, probably averaging something like one a year and I wish I had known this many years ago...
At the first sign of infection, I stir about 3/4 teaspoon of baking soda into a bit of water (3 or 4 oz maybe, just enough to get it down), drink up, follow that with another 1/2 to 1 cup of water. I do it again one hour later and two hours later. And that's it. My symptoms are normally completely gone or greatly reduced by about 15 minutes after the first dose. I've been working on this for a couple of years now, maybe the last 4 or 5 UTI's, and on the most recent one, I hit on this routine and it worked beautifully. The last one I got rid of with 1 t baking soda in water three times a day for a couple of days. But I think the quick blitz works better. I don't even need pyridium anymore. Woot!

Well, online of course!
I don't remember where online, though. I have done some searching for more info and there's not a lot, but one of the first things that you come up with if you google it is a blog post and there're tons of comments and lots of people that have tried it and it worked for them there. |

Alka- Seltzer works also. I learned this here at LCF! If you drink 1 packet as soon as you feel the symptoms, it relieves the symptoms.
Although, YMMV... I have tried it and it works for me! |
