Endometrial Biopsy? Posting here because more people see it.

Anyone here had one done? I had one Thursday afternoon, at first it was light bleeding, this afternoon heavy like a bad period. I thought it would be lighter.

Did they tell you how long you might bleed afterwards? You should probably call your doctor and ask about it ... I had what I considered heavy bleeding but the drs said it wasn't heavy in their opinion. I eventually had an ablation done but that was because it didn't stop, not because of how heavy it was (in my case). It can be scary so I'd suggest you call - FYI they'll probably ask how quickly you soak a pad.

I know that bleeding when you don't expect to is scary.

Call your doc. I had uterine fibroids so I kinda always bled heavy.

ok thanks guys, I was just worried because I liner has been all I needed and then this afternoon I was at the store and ( sorry TMI I know lol) there was a gush and heavy bleeding the liner was definitely NOT enough.. will give it until Monday and then call if it's still bad

have not been resting much at all, so busy and today I was running errands all day. Will put my feet up tonight and rest!

Up and around all day could have been the cause. I'd say you're done with your chores for the day.

nope! ROFL I actually made steaks and steamed green beans tossed in olive oil and garlic. Pizza sounds so good but I am trying to stay low carb. DH did help prep the green beans for me though lol

I would have done the same.....low carb or not. I would not have made something for dinner. Or at least have DH do it for me. My DH can fend for himself and the kids!!

I've had three of them (Yes, my body hates me) and only had bleeding after 1. I think if it goes on more than a couple of days I would call. Unless your period isn't regular, but if your gushing, it's probably your menstrual cycle more than the biopsy. But then again, you never know. Best to get checked out.

I only had to cook for 3 of us so it didnt take long and I really want to stay as low carb as possible and get this weight off!

My periods are regular just getting longer, went from 5 to 7 days to 9 to 12 days. I just got over my period a week before the biopsy test so it wasn't that. I woke up this morning and it seems to have stopped completely so hopefully it was just a combination of the biopsy and not taking it easy and resting. I aslo had 2 Ultra sounds done the following day where she was pressing all over the area very hard so that might have aggravated the situation.
