Me and my Endometriosis again!

So, I decided to bite the bullet and get the Lupron Depot shot.

After my insurance (which covered 100% of the cost) screwed up the shipping and I had to drive an hour to find the UPS place to pick it up from...

I had the nurse corner me in the office, crying and wimpering [I have an irrational fear of sharp objects, especially ones attached to what seemed like a 100mL syringe!], and she gave me the shot. I'm getting dizzy just thinking about it!

Ok so that was yesterday. I took the norethin ace tab because I'm paranoid about bone loss--I can deal with the hot flashes, but I do not want to lose bone mass, especially since I lead a dangerous, equine codependent life. OK so back track--this was also my first ramp up week for my cycling training and I overdid it and my entire body is sore anyways.

The shot did not hurt. An hour later, I felt my butt start to swell. Now it is over 24 hours later, I'm still walking funny and I get random spasms in my muscle from the injection. It hurts like hell!

Anyone else have this injection? Am I just weak? I hope it goes away soon.. it's not bad enough to skip training, but it's not making the training any more fun!

I hope I made the right decision. I hope it gets rid of some of the endometriosis.
