Welcome Victoria! It will be nice to have someone else who's TTC join the group. Hubby and I have been at it for 8 months now. I have many of the symptoms of PCOS, but labs do not support a diagnosis. I'm going on Clomid this week, after an annovulatory cycle. I know how hard it is, wanting a baby so bad! I'm also working on losing as much as I can while TTC. It's an uphill battle sometimes. Best of luck to you! My advice, come here and post often. This group of ladies are the best support system!

Thanks everyone
I hear ya Shana, I need to get as much of this weight off as possible. While I would love to say I'm pregnant now, on top of the weight I have hypertension which I know is weight related. I take 3 different meds for that alone! I'm really hoping I can get rid of that issue before it happens. I'm also considered pre-diabetic, but not diabetic yet, so I'm hoping losing weight will help with that too. I must admit we are going on vacation next week and probably won't really start watching what I eat until after we get back. Thats just how I am on vacation. lol

Sharon - How are you? How is Ethan? I hope his collar bone is healing quickly. I believe that is fairly common, I have heard of several instances. Poor baby. How is Brandon adapting to having a new LO in the house? I hope your DH is able to adjust his vacation!!!
![]() ![]() ![]() Krissy - Yay on a date! I love October babies. My b-day is 10/30. ![]() Victoria! I love this place and you will too. It took me 6 months and seven cycles to conceive this baby (#2 for us) and I couldnt have made it without the support I received here. As for me, I will be 7 wks on Monday. Nothing really going on here. My pregnancies are boring! I cant wait for my appointmen in 2 weeks!

I'm excited we are going to have another baby here in a few days! I agree...October is the best month. My birthday was the 7th and my sons e 12th
And it means I'm next! (I think) I'm SO getting ready and I'm only 29 weeks Dh comes come 3:30am Friday and I'm anxious/nervous. Last time I saw him I was not even showing..now I'm 20 pounds larger and obviously noticeably pregnant. I'm ready for him to be home though so I have someone to share this pregnancy with |

Ethan is a pretty good sleeper so far, but I know that will probably change soon as time goes on and he becomes more alert. We have an appointment on Wednesday to see the orthopedic doctor so we'll see what he says. But he seems to be not too bothered by it that much which helps make mommy feel a bit better too! DH will be going back to work this Thursday and Friday but will take off again next week except for Wednesday. I think I will be okay....and as I said before having Brandon in daycare will be helpful for all of us (especially Brandon so he can have lots of fun playing!) And hey, as far as you go, boring pregnancies are a fine thing! I am still so happy for you that you got your BFP!! ![]()

Forgive me Sharon but I didn't know your hubby was Asian! What nationality is he? My brother is Korean and has a beautiful baby girl. I'm absolutely in love with Asian babies

Yup, DH is Chinese, he was born in Taiwan and his family came over to the US when he was about 10. Our first son looks more white, and Ethan definitely looks more like daddy! It's funny, you never know what "mix" you're going to get with biracial babies.
KQT-good luck tomorrow! You and your baby girl will do great!! ![]() |

Hi ladies! Brooke was born at 5.05pm, 7lb 5oz, 18 1/4" and momma's dark hair! She's currently in the nicu, she was on a breather tube for an hour or so. She has a slight rash that was on her arms and legs, docs aren't too sure at this time what exactly it was but its healing up and looks much better already. I enjoyed the spinal very much so, however I have been vomiting all evening. Just had my first walk to the bathroom and it went ok. we haven't had a chance to hold her yet, which makes it feel surreal, but daddy cried his eyes out ater he visited her alone a little while ago
Praise the lord, I love my little blessing! I have been calm throughout the entire thing but once I hold her I know the tears will flow!

Anybody in here know about/ research delayed cord clamping/cutting?
I know my midwife will be all for it, but worried about the OB being on board if I end up delivering with her. |

Just popping in to say hello to everyone.
Today I am busy doing laundry and finishing up some homework (i take classes online). I probably won't be on until next weekend after today. We are going to Charleston, South Carolina and celebrating our anniversary 3 1/2 weeks early. DH couldn't get off work in November. |
