Gab- sounds yum!

JM- you can track calories, but the point is to not count them. You only have to track them to find out what your ratio of fat to protein to carbs is. When I start my new meal plan I'll log all that stuff and try to post it as well so you can get an idea of what it looks like.

Congrats hun!! Thats great

Well completed 35 mins of weight training and 30 mins of elliptical and ergo climber. I feel pretty good.. more so of a relief of getting away from the house. I picked up Jillians Ripped in 30 cuz they were out of 30 day shred. I come home and of course DH is pissed off cuz hes stuck with a crying baby for 2 hrs, and tries to give me Jax as soon as I come home. Umm no... I would like to shower and get in a protein shake for dinner... its 930. Im hungry. Ughh im seriously debating on going back to work part time. I am gonna pray that God gives me an answer as to what the right decision is. I feel like my sanity and perhaps our marriages sanity might benefit from it. Im so tired of DH acting like I do nothing all day and the min he has to deal with a fussy baby.. he acts like hes a God cuz he does it for an hr. WHOOP DEE DO. There are plenty of MA jobs hiring right now... alot of them are full time tho and Im def not doing that. Idk... Im so up in the air of whats the right decision for me and Jaxon.

K im headed to blend up my protein smoothie and go attempt to relax and read. See ya girls in the am lol

Dayum!!!!!! Check out that hottie!!! If that's not motivation, then I don't know what is...

Those issues with DH, you guys need to figure it out. DH and I went through something similar wHen DD was born. Even though I worked full time, his job was more physical, so in his mind that meant that I had to do the cooking, cleaning, taking care of DD, etc. We ended up separating before I deployed. You can't ignore the elephant in the room, hon. just talk to him!!

Dinner tonight was 1/2 cup cottage cheese, a half cup LC ice cream, and a diet dr pepper.. 7 net carbs. Did not feel like eating anything heavy or any meat. Hopefully the scale is kind tomorrow...

Lol I thought were not supposed to be weighing ourselves so much haha I did at the gym w clothes on and then came home and used ours w clothes off and it was the same sk that tells me our scale at home is retarded lol. Your din sounds good to me lol! And your right that him and I need to hash it out cuz we just had a major blow out b4 he fell asleep. I'm so over it. He also said "yeah u just wanna pawn him off on daycare cuz u can't handle it". He's lucky he didn't get punched for that lol. So we went to bed not speaking and 2mrw hell act like nothing happened. Typical guy. How did u guys end up fixin it? Did u go talk to some1 or just sit down and lay out the rules? I will prolly start lookin more at jobs and if I see one that meets all my criteria I'll apply and leave it in Gods hands what's meant to be will be. I'm also gonna drive down to Houston with Jax next wknd and visit my sis. It'll be good to take a break from our house. Lol haven't told DH yet...

A crying, fussy baby sure makes things tense fast! That is why I was so happy last night when dh took James so I could eat. With Andrew, he never did that for me!
Having another pool party this weekend with the hockey parents, so back to the grocery store. This time I told everyone we are planning lunch and dinner cause everyone always stays anyway. Then we wont have to order pizza for dinner. We just buy all the stuff and split the bill.

Jaxmom- dh and I had/have some similar arguments. I don't think it is still 100%resolved. As Sam slept more, it got easier. We did talk about our expectations and how we felt. But we have had this issue since we got married re:chores and who should be responsible.

Sam slept the night through

We have an outdoor birthday party today. Hope the weather holds out

I think it's common for new parents to have those issues. I went back to work part time in the evenings at about 8 weeks with Kyle. Dh watched him. He learned fast that I wasn't sitting around doing nothing all day.
Jax- tell him you need some you time. Talk to him about how you are feeling.

everyone. Enjoying my company a lot. Pool today and we are going to dinner. I cooked yesterday and managed my 3rd day 100% lc

It is important to talk when you are both calm, not when the baby is screaming. It is much easier the second time though.

jaxmoma, i'm sorry to hear you guys had a blowout. you don't need that stress, especially after taking some YOU time, feeling good about yourself, and returning to that grump! he probably didn't realize how much work it is to take care of the baby since you've been doing it most of the time.

my husband feels like he deserves a parade if he does the dishes or vacuums the house.

Fighting like that with a new baby is normal and no ones fault. Her husband is stressed to and taking care of a crying baby after working all day is not fun either.

My husbands work is seasonal and most likely he won't be working when the baby arrives, so he'll get to spend just as much time with the baby as I do. And if he's still not working after my 6 weeks and I decide to go back to work, guess who gets full time baby duty til he does go back to work?
I think our "plan" is when he is working he can come home, clean up and rest for 30 mins or so, then he has to give me a break for an hour. It's nice to have a "plan" even if the plan doesn't always work out. Will be interesting to see how this all pans out.

Lori... thats good that u guys have a plan already and that DHs work kinda allows that

Glad toknow Im not the only one who has had this issue. As predicted he acted like nothing happened this am. He was supposed to go into workextra 2day but then I guess they ended up not needing him so when the 6am feeding came around I said "Oh well since your home..did u wanna feed your son?" and he said "yeah thats fine" Soi took the liberty to go back to sleep until 9 in one of our spare bedrooms cuz felt I deserved it. I got up then and made some coffee and felt semi normal. DH seems to still have difficulty understanding that the baby needs to eat every 3-4 hrs and doesnt keep track so I have to ask whether hes fed him and what time. But atleast hes done it 2day. He claims he was tired and doesnt remember what he said to me.. yeah okay. The argument will go on the back burner for now but its not over..

DP.. thats great that you are staying so consistent!! Does your friend eat LC then when shes there? Sounds like a great weekend! When does she leave?

Gab.. congrats on Sam sleeping through!! AWESOME!!

Suzanne.. I totally agree that fighting around baby or when hes crying is def not good and makes for more stress etc. And I also agree that it is prolly stressful for him too after work so we need a common ground. On days where Jax has a good day and hes not screaming his head off and refusing to nap or be put down all day.. then its not bad and he willingly helps out. Lol its just the difficult days where of course he doesnt wanna participate.

Anywhoooo... plan for me 2day is that we are gonna go do some running around this early afternoon and then come back and I will go to the gym again while DH watches him. Later 2nite I think were headed to our friends so that will be a nice stress relief. 2mrw is church in AM, gym sometime and house cleaning. Lol I gave DH a choice.. either watch the baby while I clean bathrooms and vacuum and clean kitchen...or he can do the cleaning. Lol we'll see what he chooses.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying LC!!

JaxonsM, glad you're feeling better after getting to sleep in!
I see a lot of people in here go to church, I do too and keeping worrying about the morning sickness keeping me from going on Sunday mornings.
Did you guys ever miss church with MS? Did you feel bad for doing so?

Well we are home and I'm trying to get a routine going.

Weighed myself and I'm very happy. Day before I was admitted to hospital was 240....today, 2 weeks after birth 203!

Asher is 2 weeks old today. He is doing well.

Went to the store yesterday and stocked up on food for me.

Can't wait for the ketosis to kick in!!!

Hello everyone,
Just a quick update, i'm 7 weeks today! the spotting still comes and goes...it seems like it's just a tiny bit in the mornings, then it's gone the rest of the day. i'm also seeing remnants of something in the toilet when i urinate....not sure if it's tissue or cervical mucus or what, should i be concerned? it's the same color as the spotting, so sometimes pink, sometimes brownish.

Queasy feelings have been mild, but i'm getting them a little more often. I made chicken cordon blue the other day (one of my faves), and couldn't even look at the chicken, how sad! i had to eat just the ham and cheese in the middle. Mostly i just don't feel like eating, and when i do eat, i feel stuffed right away. I've even lost some weight unintentionally, even though my belly continues to grow bigger. Doc appointment next week, and i've never been so excited to go!
