Well, like I said before, that tea is my favorite! Even with a queasy tummy, it helped. Have you tried a one minute muffin? Those might help. Or.. Have you ever tried carbquik? Netrition sells it. It's kinda of expensive, but I really liked it. I would make the basic biscuit recipe and use the little pre-cooked sausage patties and a small square of cheese. That with some berries, and that was my breakfast. I am NOT an egg person, especially when preggers Or... Have you ever tried chia seeds? There are recipe that uses chia, unsweetened almond milk, a sweetener of your choice, and some berries, or a tiny amount of apple. Oh, and two others I used to eat. If you can do dairy, then these might work. Try a container of plain Greek yogurt and add sweetener and a quarter cup of frozen blueberries. So good! The other is the same yogurt, but often I'll put a half packet of the crystal lite orange juice powder in it. It tastes just like an orange Julius Quote:

Hey - here's the flax waffle/pancake recipe. I found it on here long ago but not sure who the original creator is.
6 tablespoons flax meal 3 eggs 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon baking powder Pinch of salt 1 tablespoon of lc milk or hwc with a little bit of water 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 2 packets of sweetner of your choice. Mix together well, allow to sit for 5 min. It cooks up just like a real pancake - tastes really well! I have gotten 3 - 5 decent sized pancakes from this mixture. |

That pancake sounds good!! A friend of mine makes cinnamon flax pancakes and then tosses on bacon bits while they're cooking. SOoooo good! I might try that recipe this weekend, Gab! Thanks!

Thanks so much for the welcome! I do really love it here and have missed being around.
My big goal for tomorrow is to drink more water! I am not good about that at all. I have an app on my phone that should help me with that, and I am using my giant cup I got from the hospital, but I think it's time to start doing the Crystal Lite thing (I use twice as much water as suggested per packet, and it tastes fine to me!). I'm pretty okay with my eating, and easing into working out. I'd like to start doing T Tapp again, and I am doing some yoga although the post partum yoga workout I have is so hard that I don't know that many women would be able to do it!

As some of you know, I had horrible nausea for my whole pregnancy. For whatever reason, I could eat an artichoke for breakfast. So, think outside the box when looking for a breakfast food! Vegetables are often a good breakfast for nausea.

Morning everyone. LONG night. We had thunderstorms for about 4 hours last night and my son is terrified so I had him and my scared dog in bed with me. I can't not sleep with my son! He's all over the place! I finally feel asleep at 4am when the storm passed. Thankfully it's a short day because I have a doctors appointment. Genetic testing so just bloodwork but I'm hoping I get to make my appointment to determine the gender

It's just gonna be hard to continue to force myself to eat so much if I don't see inches or lbs lost. Or even like if I just go by how my clothes fit.... Which is terrible right now lol. I have one pair of fat jeans I can wear and none of my tees fit cuz of my stomach. Blah.
Anyways I don't wanna spend the day thinking or talking abt this so.,,, gonna pretend it didn't happen. I'm debating whether to try to fall back asleep or go shower lol. It's 7am and I just fed Jax and he's asleep again. I wanna get grocery shopping over w by noon do I prolly should shower now while hes zonked out but man catching up on sleep sounds good too lol. And no matter what the day brings... I'm getting my dang workout in and a walk 2nite ![]()

Good Morning ladies!
DP I'm sorry you didn't get much sleep! Here's to an easy day! Never made it to work yesterday, my brakes started grinding really bad out of the blue. I spent the day getting them fixed instead, then came home early to nap. Overall, it was a much easier day then it would have been if I'd gone to work. |

Hello all!!
![]() Just another fly by posting. Asher is doing very well. He are off everything. Last step is to get him to nurse. He is tounge tied and ENT is going to do a consult to see if he needs it clipped. He will have to stay 1 to 2 days after they do that. So we may be here a whole other week. ![]() I'm so ready to be home. I had a turn for the worse. My pre-e came back after or I should say didn't leave but got worse. Woke up from a nap and I had the servere chills. My lungs filled up with fluid and I couldn't breathe. I was coughing up fluid. Hubby took me to local hospital and they put me in the icu. This was friday. I got out Monday mid-morning. I bet I dropped at least 10 pounds worth of fluid off my body. I really thought I wasn't going to make it. Because the doctors were really worried too. Well I'm off to nurse mr Asher. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Lizzy,
You are very lucky. The same thing happened to a woman on my other message board and she passed away. It was just horrible. You have been through a lot, and yet seem so positive. Life has got to get easier for you soon. All this worry about our weight seems so trivial when we remember how much can really go wrong! |
