He is sort of independently mobile - rolling with purpose almost, he tracks things so much better - when he drops a toy he actually looks to see where it went, and he is just so interested in everything around us.

We have babies in the library this morning.
Congrats on the weight loss!! That is awesome!! And I cant wait to experience all these amazing baby milestones you guys talk about!!

Hey, Ladies! Tomorrow is the day I've been dreading since getting pregnant! I have my GD test tomorrow. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow

I had GD with my last pregnancy and even with following their diet plan perfectly they had to put me on large amounts of insulin (they kept raising it, it was crazy!) Even so, my blood sugars were never where they wanted them to be so I ended up getting induced a week early. I was sooo miserable the last few months of that pregnancy and I don't want to go through that again. Especially the needles.....ugh.

I feel somewhat confident because I managed to lose about 65 lbs between last pregnancy and this one, but you never know...

Also, please keep me in your prayers: The baby hasn't been very active the last few days and I've been having weird pains in my back and sometimes stomach that I never had with any other pregnancy (or at least I don't remember them) I think it is too early to start kick counts since I am only 24 weeks, but I might try anyway.
Prayers that everything comes back negative for your GD...I think you stand a good chance if you have lost that weight and especially if you have been eating LC. I actually failed my first one and was freaking out cuz I couldnt fathom how it happened when I dont eat sugar etc. Luckily it was a fluke and my 3 hr was fine. I guess it just shows my body processes the glucose slow...which is even more a reason why I will continue to stay LC for life

As far as kick counts, its hard to tell. I couldnt even feel my baby moving until he was about 22 weeks. The way my placenta is placed it kinda absorbs some of his movement so thats why i wasnt feeling it as much as others. I would ask about it at your appointment if its really bothering you. Cuz the more you stress..themore youll think about it. Prayers everything goes well 2day and try to relax

Called my ob and my genetic screening is just blood work. I wanted to double check because I know I can't take my son if it were an ultrasound. Kind of bummed!

Alot of us are. I can tell u from my own experience that when I started my first tri.. i didnt watch my carbs and I gained way too fast. Once I started watching again.. I went back to a normal gain rate and felt wayyyy better. Wish I woulda done it the whole pregnancy. I prolly would only gained 25 or 30 instead of the 40 i did. I didnt cut out fruit though and didnt do induction type super low carbs. Just around 50 grams

CONGRATS!! Any names picked out yet??
yikes! what part of TX? my inlaw's moved out there after we got married... we have never visited in summer.. and dont plan on it lol
They live 20 mins from Dallas and we went last thanksgiving...

thanks! thats good to keep in mind.

Hi ladies! Just a quick hello as I have to get DS into bed and then get myself into bed. I had to wake up very early and make a trip with some coworkers for work today and I am just exhausted.

Sooooo, TOM was due yesterday and never came. I tested again today just in case but BFN. I have never in my life had a late TOM, I am always like clockwork so I am just baffled. Maybe it will be here tonight but why the longer cycle? My cycles are always 28 days. ALWAYS.

Hhmmmmm....... You know home tests can produce false negatives. I'm going to say my prayers. Perhaps you are still too early to test.

I used the early detection tests and had 2 positives a week before my period was due and then another a week after it was late.

For those trying, do not get to upset. We tried and tried after Andrew was born to have another baby, did three rounds of IVF. I just turned it over to God. And here I am at age 40 with a new born, lol. God and and I clearly did not have the same game plan! Stressing will not get you pregnant any faster. Just eat healthy and take care of yourself, that is all you can do.
Suzanne, thank you for this, I needed it today.

Hang in there! Remind me how far along you are now? I bet they induce or schedule c-sect soon. That BP is getting up there! Be sure to drink plenty of water to help flush the swelling as much as you can.

So I sent my SIL an email titled "Friday night" in it I asked if she would make 2 doz cupcakes for the party on Friday and show off her talent. She's hoping to open a cake business.

She writes back "sure. This Saturday - cool.".

Andi - fair warning, I had THREE negative First Response home tests when I was actually about 6-7 weeks pregnant (confirmed via blood test with blood drawn the same day as AND a day BEFORE I took the second and third FR tests). More expensive does not mean more accurate. My Dollar Tree home tests showed positive when then FR ones still showed negative! When in doubt, I highly recommend you end your suffering by getting a blood test.

WOW! Yeah, I used dollar tree tests when I found out I was pg with DS. That's why I bought these cheapies! I just want to try a different brand, any brand to see what happens.

Still no TOM....................gahhhhhhhhhh!

Sooo Jaxon arrived today!! My water broke at 315am so I showered and we got to hospital around 415 or so. By then I was 7 cm dialated. I literally had no early labor..lol went straight to 3-5 min apart contractions. My dr was takin forever to get there and they couldn't start the spinal block until she got there and they ran blood work labs. I was originally scheduled for a C section Wedn AM. At this point Jaxon was crowning so they said if I did vaginal delivery instead, they could numb my crotch and give me alil pain meds in my IV but no epi. So I went almost natural and he was born at 552am. Literally only pushed for like 10 mins. They were amazed that it was my first child and I progressed in 2 hrs and with no epi. I feel like a supermom lol. He weighs in at 7 lbs 5 oz and 20 in long. He's doing great minus alil bruising on his head cuz she did have to use a vacuum cuz the cord was gettin stuck the very last push. But he's healthy and gorgeous and perfect we will go home Thurs AM!! Cant believe how things turned out...shows God always has a plan. Also shows that my son is strong willed and noone is gonna tell him what to do. Lol he showed up in this world kickin butt and takin names lol. Oddly Im glad even tho the pain was pretty surreal. Its all worth it!! Just wanted to update u ladies. I do have a tear but no real pain. Just alil sore but life is good
