Weight Gain After Tubes Tied?
Hi, hope this is the right forum to post this in. I am 38 years old and had my tubes tied in January so roughly 9 months ago. Prior to this my weight always stayed around 158 and was the same for the past two or three years. Since I had my tubes tied, my weight has ballooned up to 172. I have no energy and feel tired most of the time. Not like me at all. Any suggestions on why this is happening? Anyone else experienced this?Thanks...really miserable b/c of the weight gain and started low carb. I need something to work.

You should get your thyroid checked. I'm going to assume you've had children? It can change drastically after having children. Labs - TSH, Free T4 and Free T3. Even if no children I'd get your thyroid checked anyway. Last edited by watcher513; 09-16-2009 at 04:54 PM.. |
