new and needing to live LC
Hey all, I'm new here and also found out yesterday I need to start on a low carb diet due to my PCOS. I was put on Metformin 500mg and was also told to just exercise and cut out carbs. The only problem is I don't know where to start!
I looked into Atkins and it just seems too confusing. I don't really need to lose weight, I'm on the high end of my healthy weight range for my height. Can anyone give me any advice of what I should do? Any other ladies with PCOS who have had to do the same thing? Advice will be greatly appreciated! ![]() |

Im a Cyster too.... but I have weight to lose..
Once of the things I did when I got rid of Dairy and things that fall in the bread group.. I took one week at a time to remove the foods one meal at a time. First week No Dairy at Breakfast Second Week no Dairy at Breakfast and Lunch Third Week - same as Second Fourth Week - no Dairy I did the same with the Bread group.. that was a little harder for me to do than the Dairy but I did it.. |
