Good morning everyone,

Babypalooza is right Katy...and Melody is going to start another one in July

. Nothing much going on today. I'm going to try my best to start getting things wrapped up at work this week since I hate to leave loose ends and if my BP isn't where it's supposed to be, they might not let me come back to work. I also had a few contractions over the weekend. Nothing painful but there was one long one on the drive home that just got really annoying after a while. They're like hours apart so I'm not worried. I haven't had any since about 6:30 yesterday evening.

June already eh?I'm with you Meek- is it october yet?

So my mom is coming into town soon and I happen to have a baby checkup when she is here. I called today to see if I can get a sonogram done because this is my mom's first grandbaby AND she has never seen a sonogram. They dont know if they will do it, even if I pay for it!

I have to talk to the office manager who isnt in until tomorrow. How is it I can pay $75 for the 3D ultrasound and they dont even offer 2D ones??

So

that they'll let us have one, my mom would be SOO thrilled

Meek - I can't wait for the October thread too!! Although if were already Oct. I may have a panic attack.

Disney - I hope they let you schedule an u/s so your mom can see the baby. My mom already told me that she wants to come visit when I do an u/s to see the baby and it's not the first grandbaby. She's just so excited.

Tracey - good luck getting ready for mat leave. You're so close now.

Katy - not much longer until you start the next BabyPalooza in September. Are you ready for your daughter?

AFM, I had my 2nd baby dream last night. It was a girl this time. Guess my subconscious is telling me not to be set on it being a boy. It was so vivid and the baby was so cute. I can't wait to find out. Only 5 1/2 more weeks.

Hi Ladies -
Very quickly here to let you know my water broke this morning at 2:40am!!!!! I'm having some contractions about every 10 mins so I've mobilized the friends on this end who will be with me through it all. I'll do my best to be in touch - but not sure when that will be - also have Katy's phone number so will do my best to have someone fill her in. I'm 2 days shy of 37 weeks so all should be just fine - but I'm so NOT ready at home - OH WELL! This girl is on a mission apparently

Are we taking a guess at the order in which they arrive? Ill guess Tracey, Cheri, Amy, Bridgett. Dont forget to take your digital cameras and laptops to the hospitals!! I cant wait to see them all.

Whoa Tracey...I hope your BP is in a good range. Try to keep things mellow. Sounds like your body is practicing contractions. Does your doctor do membrane sweeps when you visit near the end?

Disney...that is a sweet idea to have a sonogram while your mom is here. I tood MIL to our medical ultrasound. We are gonna try another 3D in before he is born...if we do we will invite MIL then, too. But not my mom. She is drama. She will be getting a nice call after the baby has arrived. She called me at work today (since I have to pick up the phone here...not caller ID, LOL) and she was trying to tell me when would be most convenient for me to birth. She prefered middle of the night on a weekday. She works graveyard not to far from hospital but lives really far away from the hospital. I know she was half joking....but she totally bugs me. I have no patience for her. Last time I asked her to leave while I was birthing but she tells everyone that she could hear me screaming out for her the entire time. There was no screaming at all. LOL

When I read I open a wordpad window and type responses as I read along...I guess since Amys water is broken my guesses for who is going first were off.

Congrats AMY!!!! Im so happy that things are rolling smoothly for you. I hope your birth is wonderful and easy. Dont worry about being ready at home...it will all be smoothed out when it needs to be! Keep us posted!!

I would LOVE for my mom and my MIL to see our 3D ultrasound, unfortunitly both mine and DHs families live in NY and we are down in NC. Thats why I am praying my ob/gyn will do the 2D sonogram for us when my mom is here, it is the only chance we get and I know it would just make her SO happy. Me and my mom are as close as can be

Amy - How exciting!! Maybe the had your dates off a little. Who knows? But at 37 weeks I agree your little one will be just fine. Can't wait to hear something!

Welcome Kaiser - Good for you for sticking to your plan. I was so good at first and then morning sickness hit at 9 weeks and I let it all fly out the window, it was whatever I could stomach which didn't tend to be meat or veggies. Good luck, let's hope the morning sickness stays away.

So I've gone to Jazzercise the past two days, which I like, but honestly I don't want to join because I think after the baby, those workouts would be too easy for me. Even being the only preggo in the room I'm still pushin' heavier "light" weights then all the ones in there that do it all the time. I think I'd look like a freak strollin' in there with 12-15 pound weights once I get back to the old me. It's still fun nonetheless, makes ya feel all "jazz like" or like a "dancin' queen". LOL! The thing that bothers me more than anything honestly is the instructors aren't in that great of shape looking"wise". I mean not that I think they aren't perfectly healthy and attractive the way they are, and all, but let's be honest, if you paid a trainer would you want to go to the one that looked in shape or the one that probably is in shape but doesn't necessarily look the part? I don't know we'll see. Like I said though the fun factor may make me go back.

Maybe the had your dates off a little. Who knows? But at 37 weeks I agree your little one will be just fine. Can't wait to hear something! Welcome Kaiser - Good for you for sticking to your plan. I was so good at first and then morning sickness hit at 9 weeks and I let it all fly out the window, it was whatever I could stomach which didn't tend to be meat or veggies. Good luck, let's hope the morning sickness stays away. So I've gone to Jazzercise the past two days, which I like, but honestly I don't want to join because I think after the baby, those workouts would be too easy for me. Even being the only preggo in the room I'm still pushin' heavier "light" weights then all the ones in there that do it all the time. I think I'd look like a freak strollin' in there with 12-15 pound weights once I get back to the old me. It's still fun nonetheless, makes ya feel all "jazz like" or like a "dancin' queen". LOL! The thing that bothers me more than anything honestly is the instructors aren't in that great of shape looking"wise". I mean not that I think they aren't perfectly healthy and attractive the way they are, and all, but let's be honest, if you paid a trainer would you want to go to the one that looked in shape or the one that probably is in shape but doesn't necessarily look the part? I don't know we'll see.
