Hi everyone,

Amy~ Thanks for the update. I was getting worried too. She is beautiful!

Cheri~ I hope everything is going well with you and your little one.

I was up most of the night with contractions that were about 6 to 7 minutes apart. I ended up trying to get some sleep sitting upright supported by lots of pillows because the contractions seem to be worse if I am lying down. I don't want to call them painful since I know they will get much worse but they are very uncomfortable. I've been monitoring them since I got out of bed and they're all over the place now...anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes apart. They are getting longer though. The ones I had throughout the night lasted 20 to 30 seconds. They're lasting about 50 to 60 seconds now.

I think I lost the last of my mucous plug this morning. Boy, I did not expect that to take that long.

Amy - She is gorgeous!! But I thought they wouldn't let you leave the hospital without a name. Is that not true?

Tracey - woo! Good luck!! Sounds like your baby is going to be here shortly.

Katy - that's awesome about the free crib. Free stuff is always appreciated. Did you get your laundrey put away? I was doing that this weekend too. It's no fun!! Have you and DH gotten any closer on picking a name? And if I followed your weight gain post, you are up 15? If you gain one pound per week the rest of the way, you'll only be up 27 or so the whole pregnancy. That doesn't seem terrible. What are you aiming for?

Nik - I agree that cutting carbs and losing the water weight bloat isn't real WL. It's just getting less bloated and eating better. I may try that approach. I go for my glucose test next week and am pretty scared of that already.

AFM, I had my 15 week appointment today. Babies HB was nice and strong (they didn't give me a number) and my lab results from earlier all came out normal or good. I go next week for the early glucose 1-hour test and some extra b/w. I go back on July 8th, which is the same day as my appt with the specialist for my big u/s. So it will be a busy and fun day. I can't wait!! Only 4 weeks and 2 days. Oh, and I went to motherhood maternity today. I bought 4 shirts and some of their stuff was way cute. I would have bought more but they only had a very small plus size section and I need the 1x in most things so I'm going to continue shopping online to get a few additional things for now.

I hope you all have a great Monday!

Amber, I'm telling you the clothes I got the most compliments from were the Walmart.com (not store) maternity section. I even passed on to a co-worker and she's getting better compliments than me! The XL fits like a 1x/2x. LOTS of room and we're the same size.

Amber~My goal was 15 for the whole pregnancy but I don't think that's going to work out. I gained 21 with Tucker, I will be happy with anything under 30. I got a lot, but not all, of the laundry put away. I hope to finish it tonight and get the basement all cleaned up.

I got a lot of maternity clothes at JCPenney's and Target, you might check there too. When are you going to tell work?

Amy...there are no words for how beautiful your daughter its. I bet you could just sit there and stare at her forever...I am so glad that I am pregnant right now. I cant wait to hold a baby after seeing your pics. Her little pink hat is adorbale. I was on a crochet kick all weekend and I made two beenies yesterday and a pair of booties. I gave one of teh beenies to SIL who is due a week after me. But we will both go early. *sigh* GOOD JOB, MOM! Im so glad it was an easy birth and that it turned out to be an amazing experience for you.

AFM Im at work. I went to dinner at a korean bbq for MILs Birthday (and a couple neices and nephews B-days were celebrated there too). It was a really nice time. I had that terrible aching in my groan Friday and i still get it if I stay on my feet too long. MIL says (and I listen, cuz she had TEN babies) but she says I appear to have dropped. He has felt upside down (transverse? yes? no?) for the last week and it makes sense that he would fall a bit. Weight is creeping up, appetite is medium, exercise is questionable at best. Work is busy! I began this post this morning at 8AM and its now almost two and Im juuust about ready to post it. We were hit with a bundle of orders right when I opened the page...

Tracey...you ready? Its gonna be any time now...

Cheeeeri! How is everything? Im all excited. If her water is broken then she will have the baby within a day, right? I forget how long they let you labor past that point.

(((Hugs)))

After my water broke, they let me go 12 hours before starting the antibiotics. They prefer you to deliver within 24 hours but I had an awesome and supportive doctor who let me go almost 48 hours.

Hi all - just another quick stop in - Little G's weight dropped back again slightly today so I'm back on a really tight breast feeding, finger feeding, pumping schedule with little time in between for sleeping and eating which is a challenge but of course totally worth it. I just want her to gain some more, get better at latching on, and get my milk production up. I'm so thankful that my hospital has full lactation support from consultants.

I haven't had time to read yet - can someone do a quick post to let me know if anyone else has delivered or is in the process - I'll get to read soon I hope - but I've been thinking about everyone constantly -

40 mins till next feed - must eat and get all the "supplies" ready -

Forgot to say that it's looking like Ada Jean with Addy as a nickname - I'm sitting with it for a day or so - that was always my favorite of the options I had thought of, and now it's starting to fit

Amy~I think Ada is a beautiful name! The quick update is that Cheri's water broke (on Saturday evening if I remember correctly) so she should have had her baby by now. Tracey may be in early labor, she has been having contractions and lost her mucous plug.

Baby Cap 2

There is directions for crocheting a cute and simple baby beanie.

Im working on a sweater right now. Its coming out well but looking a little big. But it might just be the way it lays when its not on a baby, ya know?

I did a powder blue set and now Im doing a medium blue/white set. Im gonna make the beanie, booties and sweater match and see if it suits me for a coming home outfit.

Im feeling good today.

Thinking about Cheri! Sending her lots of healthy happy baby/mommy vibes

Hello

Bailey Lynn was born at 5:12 am on 5/7 8lbs 15oz 22inches! I didn't have to have pitocin but I did get an epidural. No narcotics so I was able to be clear headed for her birth. Everything went exactly like I wanted for the most part (I'll go into more detail later ) Only one stitch! I had about 20 with my first so I'm totally stoked about that

Cheri~Congratulations! I am so glad your birth was what you wanted it to be, awesome job! And yay for no pitocin! Can't wait to see pics when you have time

Melody~I wish I knew how to crochet. I know how to do a basic knitting stitch but all that gets me is a plain blanket or a scarf, lol.

I am betting Tracey is either in labor or holding her little boy right about now!

And, Bridgett, are you still out there????

AFM: I need to quit whining about my gain because apparently it isn't bothering me enough to quit eating crap. Major bad weather warnings here tonight, I love this kind of weather!!!

Oh....and I now have a misdemeanor. Not my fault. My dog got out of the fence so I was issued a citation for "dog running at large." Stupid dog. The cop was soooo nice to me (this all happened on Saturday when it was almost 100 degrees out) but it was the 2nd time within a year he was picked up by animal control. Needless to say, he now has an appointment to get his balls chopped off in early July. If that doesn't fix his need to escape then I am afraid we will have to rehome him. That will break my heart so I'm really hoping the neutering does the trick.

Meek - 18 weeks sounds awesome to me. I know it's all relative though and you can't wait for it to fly by. I still have 25 weeks as of today left. Boo. I can't wait to find out the gender and get to the downhill slope.

Amy - still thinking of the name Ada. I think I may suggest it to DH as a girl option. We can't decide on girl names. Ada is really cute though.

I dont want to rain on the parade here, but I could use some prayers. At our last ultrasound they found a cyst on baby Kyle's brain. We havent told anyone because we didnt want unnecessary panic. We go in tomrrow afternoon to see a specialist to see what we are dealing with
