We've only bought 2 little onesies ourselves. When my mom was here she bought us some stuff and my DHs grandma mailed us a few things too.

Our showers are the 11th and 18th of July so I know we'll be getting stuff then, well, I hope anyways!

I had a diaper shower planned for August 15, but cancelled it since we will be out of town with family. The shower was scheduled on our 1 Year Anniversary. I'm trying to find another day to hold the event. We were only requesting diaper, wipes, powder, etc... and planned on purchasing everything else ourselves. I finally found the crib + travel system I want and plan on purchasing it next week.

Diapers/wipes are probably the one thing we are gonna have to buy the most of. My mom did buy us a few cases though.

I know that's right. I feel the same why, that is why I want to have a diaper shower. Our goal is to receive enough diapers to last atleast a year -

Wow, what a blessing! This is my hubby's first, so I'm hoping his family blesses us real good! - If not, no biggie.

I'm sure you guys will. A lot of folks are asking if we started a registry. We did, but it's for my personal use only (lol). I like receiving gift, but I know we're in a recession and I don't want folks to feel obligated to buy our baby anything.

My keyboard died the other night and my computer wouldn't boot without it so I am just now back to catching up. I was able to read a bit at work today but didn't have time to post.
