Tummy Tucker's....ummm do u have a ken doll??

I hope you know what i'm talking about.... it's pretty personal...But ever since I had my tummy tuck (two years ago) I seem to have a FUPA (fat upper p.... area) does this ever go away??????? I thought it was just swelling going down south from the tummy tuck but after two years i'm thinking it's always been ummm puffy. Only i never saw it before. does it ever go away?

Uh, I think I know what you are talking about...I had to have a mons reduction to get it to go down. As my surgeon so eloquently put it I looked like I had half a tennis ball stuck down there! I had it done with my lower body lift. Sorry, I don't think it goes away on it's own.

I don't have anything constructive to add to this thread, but I wanted you to know that I nearly wet my pants when I read "snoo snoo".

It will bounce back, no worries. If it is really bad that simple lypo will not fix it they can name a small incision, cut the excess skin off. That is only in really saggy cases though.

Most docs do not do anything about this with a tummy tuck from what I hear. It is considered a separate procedure. I think lipo can certainly help. I also had an incision where they took out some skin. Still, I think you can get some good results with lipo alone. It is just fat accumulation.

I'm so glad I read this. Sorry you have this issue. You taught me something new so I'll know to ask about this before I get this done.

yes, I have a ken doll. My dr said that lipo in that area is prone to infection and she didint' recommend it. sigh. I'd rather have that than what I had.....

I thought this was something that just happened to me! Thank god I am not the only one! I wonder what I am gonna do with this problem. It has been almost 4 years since I had mine done, so I know mine isn't going away. I hate it so much. I can't wear any of the tighter pants that I want to. *Sigh*

Well, sorta. I have noticed that as I'm losing weight my snoo snoo has shrunk as well. My real problem is my freaking saddle bags...or whatever they are called. Hip area, fat. I look totally deformed, spanx are a MUST. If I could afford Lipo...I'd do it RIGHT NOW.

Surgery question

Just knowing a tummy tuck in in the future for me, could anyone tell me, are you pleased with the results, how was the healing process, and any ballpark figures on cost? It may take me a couple of years to save for it.

"Plump Snoo Snoo".

Well all the plastic surgery shows I have seen, they all had lipo done on it with their TT.

I know... I am not very helpful either.

With my TT my dr did lipo there also so I have no problems. I am 10 weeks out and love the results. It was about $9,000 for the full TT. Love it!!!
