Pregnancy Thread~Mon, Feb 10/03

Good Morning everyone!

Sorry my posting has been sporatic. I have not been online alot in the last couple of months, but when I do get online I come here.

I hope everyone is doing well, and all babies that are due come with alot of ease to mom.

Please remember a little prayer today for Laci Peterson, it is her due date today. I hope they find her soon.

I need some help on sleeping. I have been having a hard time sleeping lately. I sleep only when I am exausted and this cant continue because I am a very miserable person when i dont get enough sleep. I dont want to be sleep deprived by the time the baby comes.

I will be going today for my triple screen blood test again. I was down about the change of dates for a couple of days, but there is nothing i can do about it. My dr says to just expect the baby sometime in July, they come whenever they want. The puzzling thing about it is that if i am now 16.5 weeks, that means that i was feeling the baby kicking at 12 weeks. That seems early to me. Oh well who am I to argue. Ill have my bags packed by the end of June anyways so anytime after that is fine with me.

I have spent the last couple of weeks sewing some dresses to wear. I cant seem to find anything I like that is maternaty. I bought a couple of pairs of pj bottoms to wear after the baby is born, with a tshirt so it is easy to bf.

Anyways I will quit now before I put someone to sleep with my rambling.

LOL! I guess great minds really do think alike!!We were starting the new thread at the same time...
You can feel baby's kick at various times and alot of it has to do with the position of the baby and how aware you are of you body. I have felt a couple of mine moving as early as 12 weeks... sometimes then it stops for a time and I don't feel them agian until 16 weeks or so...

Morning, hope everyone is doing well today. Not much going on, my little one has been beating me up this morning

bgulas, congratulations on your ++ test! As for eating, I try to do maintance with milk and extra fruit added in. For your workouts, what I have read is that you can continue to do whatever exercise you were doing unless it become uncomfortable or difficult or you are straining any muscles or joints. Walking is always the safest to do as well as water exercises.

We are going on a trip this week. Will be flying, I am a bit nervous about it, but I am sure everything will be fine. If you can belive this, DH and I have never flown anywhere together so this will be our fist plane trip together. I am a bit worried about that cause he hates to fly!

Hi girls! Yeah, I'm still around. I haven't felt much like posting lately. I have managed to mess my back up again (non-pg related) and I have been in agony. It's killing me to walk.

I can't remember if I even checked in after my last appt (preggo brain, I guess). My appt went well. My iron went from 9.4 to 11, so she didn't put me on supplements. Blood pressure was good too. I have to take my one hour glucose test sometime next week. I also have to go back in three weeks (Feb 26th) and then I start going every two weeks. Where is the time going?! It seems like just yesterday that I found out I was pregnant.

I also signed up for childbirth prep classes today. The preparation class is a six week class on Tuesdays, starting March 4th. Then I also signed up for a breastfeeding class on March 6th. They also have a class for 3-7 year olds, to kind of prepare them for the new baby. I signed DSS up (he's 5). So I guess we'll be busy taking classes for a while.

Well, gotta get back to work. Hope everyone has a great day!

Susan

Hello Everyone!
Well I got my blood test back today. My levels are doubling like they are suppose to, so I guess that means I am not having a Tubal Pregnancy. I am 3-4 weeks pregnant. I am so excited. I am just so tired lately. What do you guys do for the tiredness. I almost fell asleep on the way home. I am continuing with my BFL workouts and just eating veggies/meat/fruit and no sugars of bad breads. I just eat whatever as long as it is healthy. My weight jumped quite a bit. How far a long is everyone? Thanks for letting me come into your board. This is my first time pregnant.

NEWBIE QUESTIONS

I have a couple of questions.
1. How are your moods? Mine are so very bad, I cant even keep them under control. Esp. with my boyfriend. I cant stand to be near him.
2. Are you guys starving all the time? I noticed I am hungry all the time.
3. Did you put on weight fast in your tummy. I am already really showing. I feel very bloated constantly.

4. If you can give me any advice about what I am going to expect or to help me would be nice. Thanks!

Well i was moody for the most part of the 1st trimaster .. crying all the time bad mood mostly i think cause i was so unconfortable and sick all the time . This gets better for most people once you hit almost 2nd trimaster .

2. Are you guys starving all the time? I noticed I am hungry all the time.
With my first pregnant experience i was ALWAYS hungry and gained 72 lbs .This one i have not been as hungry . I eat meats lot and lot of vegies lots of salads eggs and I add usually fruit in the evening or for breadfest sometimes i add bread for lunch or breadfest as well but it low carb bread (Dr. Atkins) I have had plenty of cheats but i look at them as my special treat for carry this baby for me and my family .

3. Did you put on weight fast in your tummy. I am already really showing. I feel very bloated constantly.
Yes I was shoing by 7 weeks had to buy maternity clothes . I now look like a normal 32 week pregnant women but at the begining everyone kept saying you must be holding more then one . Agian I was used to this cause thats how i gained with my son as well all though with him i gained everywhere and this time it has stayed in my tummy .

I hope i answered your questions . The best thing is to know that your not in this alone and that when ever you have questions or concerns you can come here or to your doctor for any help.
have a great night !

4. If you can give me any advice about what I am going to expect or to help me would be nice. Thanks!
