Kat- Yeah they do the shots for LSC now. Its a problem with the pituitary gland (I think) and the rep. endo. said the shots will trigger his testes to produce more little guys (or something like that). He hates the shots but is willing to try.

Thanks for the welcomes everybody. I hope you all have a great day.

Kat - it sounds very annoying! the (dee dee dee) before the machine comes on is the same. I emailed the head honcho garrison commander about it and he emailed me back saying they had some techs working on it. I called around 1 and complained about never getting in and how I needed daycare tomorrow not really since the aerobathon ended up being at 6 anyways (and I'll probably be getting ready for my own mini-aerobathon ) So, Jonny got seen, he has 20/20 vision (obviously gets it form his Daddy because I was kneeling next to him with my contacts in and I couldn't see it time for new contacts) he got a shot and a finger prick. He was surprisingly good (he hates the doctors). He even thanked the guy that gave him the shot for the garfield bandaid.

Gracie - I'm 9 DPO, cycle day 35. The temp I was curious about was taken 2 hours late, while still in bed (it was also extremly cold in my room). I've had two higher temps since so I just disgarded it. I taco salad as well. Minus the doritos. I just eat it without 'crunchies' in it

Tink - and sending some baby dust your way!

Have a great time Christina - and congrats on the weight! Keep us posted on AF - I don't know anything about your average cycle length or luteal phase, but your chart is looking like there's potential... I just can't remember if you've tried this cycle because I've been so wrapped up in my own process! I wouldn't worry about the one-off low temp though because you bounced right back up.

Hey ladies. Happy Hump day. Speaking of BDing , I took my temp today for the first time in weeks and it was really low. I didn't put it on my chart since it was too early to really temp but I'm going to try to restart that tomorrow. I have no clue if I O'd this cycle, will O this cycle, or already have. I'm CD27 right now and usually O around CD28 but figure the m/c might change that for me this month so just waiting...

Today was a good day eating wise. I'm getting ready to gear up to get on my treadmill for 2 miles. I promised Kat that I'd log 5 miles on the treadmill this week so I'd ideally like to knock 1/2 of that out of the way tonight. We'll see how far I get though.

Christina - have fun tomorrow with your hubby being home!! I'm sure you're excited. As for temping, that low temp didn't have to be discarded. FF will just ignore one random temp here and there w/o changing your chart. Sometimes it happens because we temped too early or too late or slept with our mouth open or had a cold or whatever. The good news is that you're already at a 9 day LP so no LP defect. Thank goodness you don't have to worry about that next cycle. Since your cycles are usually shorter than this one, it probably means you will O earlier next cycle so don't let this chart cause you to miss your O. The fertility monitor should pick up your impending O though so you'll be good. Anway, I hope you have a wonderful time reuniting and we'll be here when you return.

Amy - for you this cycle!! I'd be on pins and needles too. Hopefully the next 2 weeks pass by without much anxiety and you get greated with fantastic news shortly. As for Christina (sorry Christina that I'm answering for you but I figure you might not be back for a few days), she didn't try this cycle. Her husband was off in training so no BDing around O so the chart is just for cycle informational purposes and not for real chart stalking yet. But if she had tried, it does look good with that "implantation dip". I guess it just shows that I shouldn't put too much weight into my post-O graph cause they can look really good sometimes.

Gracie - thanks! I'm going to keep going at least one more week with this exercise schedule. I hope to see good results soon. I hope you get better soon too! The bug really doesn't want to leave your side.

Kat - haha...I was thinking the same thing about how next week I will be so hulk-like-strong that I'll be able to throw the scale! Great minds think alike! Right?? Good job on your exercise!! Now practice what you preach and give yourself a pat on the back for being so disciplined lately and being so nice to your body. Do it! I'm serious Kat. Pat yourself on the back.

Okay, I'm off to exercise. I'll jump back on after the shower to tell all about it.

Okay, so turns out I didn't want to do the treadmill after all. I instead did 1 mile on the treadmill and 30 minutes on the fit. My 3 months on the fit have passed and I didn't meet my WL goal by like 3 pounds. It scolded me and made me set a new goal. I set 22 pounds in 3 months as my goal. 22 pounds is the most it will let me set to lose at once.

It also encouraged me to change my trainer and then MADE me workout with the girl trainer for my first exercise of the day. Geez, this fit is a tough cookie.

Kat - I did 12 minutes of yoga. I did a few things from the second row that I hadn't done before (downward dog for example) and a few of my favorites from the top row. I forgot the warrior pose is a yoga move - it's one of my favorites too. I have yet to try any from the 3rd row. Those all scare me. Then I did the advanced boxing, basic soccer, basic hoola hoop, advanced step, a few ski shaloms and jumps, and I think that was it.

Okay, my question for any fitters is, when it says to try to combine 2 moves, how do you do that? I have yet to figure that one out.

Hello ladies! How is everyone doing today? I'm good, just a little sore. I think I over did myself doing pilates last night. Can't hardly move.

Gracie - How are you feeling, hun

Amy - I'll send you all the baby dust I'm not using this month and lots of for your IUI.

Marsha - WTG on the pilates! It's always a love/hate thing for me with getting sore after exercise. I hate the soreness, but I love that I worked my heiney off for it KUTGW!

Mel - I do a lot better on a schedule, too. I think that's why its so much easier for me during the week vs on the weekends. KUTGW and the healthy baby-making

Christina - we'll miss ya, but something tells me you won't have us on your mind much Enjoy yourself, (so to speak) and great work with your menus and your plan for while DH is home!

Amber - looks like you got great exercise in! Go you! As far as I can tell, when it says to combine exercises you have to actually go to the strength section and select them. But after you do them (whenever in the same session, doesn't have to be right then), it gives you a little "ta-da" noise and congratulates you. I HATE it when it makes me change trainers. I do NOT like that woman, and she doesn't like me the guy is much more encouraging

Yesterday's Info:
B: Coffee
S: yogurt w/ strawberries and blueberries
L: l/o pepper stuffing from last week
S: almonds and string cheese
D: l/o steak and green beans with cheese and a little cream

Activity: 1 mile work walk, 45 mins weight routine (amped it up to appease the brain issues I've been having), 12mins Fit Yoga

Luckily I journalled through my ED brain yesterday instead of eating or not-eating/exercising like I was tempted to do. DH let me vent to him for a while too. He's getting his Masters in counseling, so he's pretty good at getting my head screwed back on straight. I'm lucky that God gave him to me instead of someone else I feel a little better this morning, at least enough to stay the course for today, which I keep telling myself is all I need to focus on.

Almost made it to the weekend! Woot!

Hey Ladies! Just popping in to show off my lil soccer player. He starts next Wednesday! It's only Bambino soccer just to teach the kids the basics, ages 3-5. I hope he enjoys it! I guess I'm officially a soccer mom! haha

Hey ladies. Woo Hoo, it's Thursday!! I'm so excited that tomorrow is the wonderful fantabulous Friday!

Eating-wise I did good today. Not great b/c I did eat lunch out but I tried to make good choices. I'm looking forward to my dinner tonight (faux meat penne pasta surprisingly is fantastic). I'm going to do at least 30 minutes on the fit tonight. Gotta get it in. I may also take my restless dog on a walk once the sun goes down a bit.

Mel - I'm glad that you're enjoying the routine of being back in work. I've thought about how work and being pregnant would merge for me. It does worry me because I can't easily leave the courtroom, but I guess I'm not there too often. But my office is so far from the only bathroom where I work and it's so gross. I've contemplated bringing barf bags and using those in the comfort of my own office. I can see how lovely the first tri must have been at home. But then I also think the distraction of work would make the time pass quicker. It sounds like it worked pretty well for you.

Christina - congrats on becoming a soccer mom!! I love the first picture the best. He's so cute and I love his smile. I can't wait to be a soccer mom. It's my favorite sport, probably because I played in high school. Can't wait to hear if he loves it too. How's having hubby home? I know I don't need to ask but figured why not!!

Kat - Good for you for getting through the ED issues yesterday. How are you feeling today? Better? Progress is what matters, not perfection. It seems like you're getting stronger mentally and physically every day. It's funny that we both workout with the guy. DH uses the female trainer. I wonder if most people use the trainer of the opposite sex. Interesting. Have you clicked on the little balance board that runs on the treadmill on the main workout page yet? It gives you an "ultimate balance test" and it's really hard.

Marsha - do you do pilates at a studio or with home videos? When does your husband return to see if the shots worked? Hopefully he gets some good news soon.

Gracie - are you feeling better yet? I hope so.

Katy - any Tucker update??

Belle -

Andrea - I hope TBL diet is going well for you this week!

Nik - You find out next week, right? I'm excited for you!!

Amy -

to everyone else. Hope you're all doing great. I'm going to eat dinner now but will be back later to report my exercise.

Mixing things up a bit. I'm gonna try posting my info in the evening when I can. Hopefully it'll help curb my urge for late night snacking, cause then I'd have to come report it to you all after I'd already signed off

Christina - He's adorable! You make a great soccer mom, too

Mel - hope you have a nice, relaxing weekend!

Amber - I haven't even noticed that -I'll have to check it out tomorrow. Funny observation about the Fit trainers. Come to think of it, I think DH uses the female, too

Progress info:
B: coffee
S: cheesecake
L:chicken salad, snow peas and carrots dipped in ranch
D: clean out the fridge concoction (burger meat, red and green pepper, cream cheese, cheddar cheese)

Activity: ~2 mi walk, 30 mins Fit yoga, strength, aerobics (shew, that Advanced Boxing is HARD )

I'm pretty ready for the weekend myself. Big surprise, right We've got our friends' little boy's football game and then his Bday party so it should be fun Just gotta make it through one more day...

Jumping on to confess that I didn't exercise. Was waiting on DH so we could take a walk and then the night went by too quickly. Will do extra tomorrow.

Hi all -
Had some disappointing news from the nurse today - seems we most likely missed my Ov window - I called because I seemed to finally be having the usual symptoms I have with Ov today- two days later than anticipated by OPKs. So although not definite, this month may have just been a learning experience which is disappointing (& expensive). I'll know by the 20th for sure, if not sooner. So we'll see where things are - I should be able to determine when I actually did O if AF does show because my LP is always 12 days.

Back to my key lime pie - and then back to healthier eating tomorrow. I also managed to come down with a cold yesterday on top of this...

I'll keep you posted - and thank you for all the good wishes and prayers - I'm not giving up hope of course!
-Amy

Kat- I love to exercise to, its just I get in there and start and the pilates kicks my butt. And I'm so sore for the next 3 days I can't move, so Its like all a waste.

Christina- Your son is so the cutest boy ever, hope you had a great time with your hubby.

Amber- I have pilates videos that I do, so I can do them in the comfort of my living room. He has to go back next week for blood work to test his testosterone and he goes back in 3 weeks to have another semen analysis to see if its any better. I've got to go back soon also to have my followup blood work done and to check my insulin/glucose to make sure they are ok since dieting.

Mel- Thanks for the welcome. Hope all is well your way.

Amy- Sorry about the bad news and sorry about your cold. Hope you feel better.

Hi you all!! I have been stalking this site for a bit now since we are TTC and I had some questions for you all.

Do you eat low carb while prego, or while TTC?
Anyone out there use Clomid?

Thanks for any feed back!

Amber - Don't sweat it, chicky. Tomorrow (today ) is a new day, and a Friday no guilt allowed on weekends or days abutting weekends. Jump back in today! It's good to give your body a rest day anyway

Amy - Bummer, but I'm keeping my hopes up for you! Do you chart to help confirm O or anything?

Marsha - even if it takes you out for a couple days, it's still good cause you'll be that much stronger next time KUTGW!

Nik - hope your class is fun (interesting?, informative? not sure what it should be, maybe all of that ) "See" you this weekend

Dannie - I eat low to lower carb while TTC (and while not TTC, at least I try to ). Hven't really been PG to speak to that, but I know some ladies that still eat lower carb -at least trying to avoid processed/refined sugar and flour- when they can during PG. On the Clomid, I've tried it one cycle and am entertaining the idea of trying it again next cycle. Haven't made up my mind yet. Please jump on in to the thread and feel free to share your TTC journey with us if you feel like it!

AFM () just in time for the weekend my viral throat crud has decided to come back with a vengence . I just took a walk at work and and it completely wiped me out. I'm thinking about going home for a nice long nap and about a million mg of vitamin C. Gotta get through my pile-o-crap on my desk first

Have a great weekend, ladies! TTYS

Morning!
Kat - Oh yes, I chart, and use the OvWatch, and OPKs and even had ultrasound this cycle - still everything was pointing to a couple of days earlier than I wound up having my usual Ov symptoms (mittleshmerz) and my temp going above the coverline. All very frustrating. But at this level of "medical assistance" we're doing all we can. The next steps are currently above budget for right now - so hoping this will be enough.

Dannie - welcome! I'm currently considering Clomid for my next cycle but haven't taken it yet. Have you? I know of many ladies who've eaten healthy lc while ttc. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, what I have read is it is important to stay out of ketosis but otherwise fine. I'm sure some with more experience (& babies!) will chime in.

Nik - Hang in there - hope you get some well needed r&r this weekend.

Marsha, Amber and anyone I've missed (I know Christina is off having fun with DH!) - have a great Friday!

- Amy

Happy Friday! I'm starting to feel a little better. Yesterday I started taking double doses of probiotics and I think it's helping. Those antibiotics just wipe my whole system out. Anyone have any plans for the weekend? Tomorrow is my DS's first football game! I'm so excited - I LUV FOOTBALL! He's the QB which makes it all the more stressful on Mom! I don't know if I told the story of our last year's football disaster. My DS's team made it to the championship round in the playoffs. The game was scheduled on Saturday, November 2nd. In the middle of the night (after Halloween) my DS wakes me up and he says his stomach hurts. Well, I just ASSume it's from eating candy. About an hour later, it still hurts so I call the doctor. At 11 pm that night he had an emergency appendectomy! Needless to say he felt horrible AND his team lost the game. He was also the QB last year so they went into the game without their starting QB. Hopefully this year he'll get to avenge the championship that should've been his! Anyhoo, enough venting.. hehehe...it's a new year right?...I'm not STILL bellyaching over last year, am I? Sunday my beloved Steelers play, DH is going to the game. I'll probably just sit in the gameroom (actually lay on the couch) with the kids and watch the game ( actually nap)!

Everyone have a great weekend! Christina, I hope you're having FUN with hubby!

hiya girls,

Dannie- I ate LC while TTC when I found out I was pregnant I ate whatever would calm my tummy down. Now that I am in my 2nd trimester I still have to eat ofter but not as much as before. I am still eating very high carb, but trying to stay healthy as possible. My plan for breastfeeding is LC but with unlimited fruits and veggies and 1 serving of whole grain a day. as for now I eat what my stomach calls for cause it keeps me from feeling sick.

Christina- what a cutie pie boy! Hope you are enjoying time with hubby!

Nik- hope you class went well, I don't think we're gonna go to classes, but we'll see. When is your ultrasound? soon right? my next appt is next fri but no ultrasound till oct.

HI to everyone!
