any ideas?
Hi girls,
I've been LC'ing for 5 weeks now and realized a week ago that my TOM is late. It is now 13 days late, and has been VERY regular for the past 6 months to a year. I have had menstrual cramps for about 8 days now. Taken 2 hpt's and both have been negative. We are not actively trying to conceive...I am trying to lose weight first. Anyone been through similar situation? I have made an appointment with my ob/gyn but can't be seen until late next week. HeLp! |

Dieting can definitely alter your normal cycle. My understanding is that estrogen is stored in our fatty tissue and as we lose weight it is released, which can cause our cycles to jump around a bit. My cycles shortened with LC but I can imagine that someone with a regular cycle could see the opposite effect.
Good luck seeing your doctor next week. |

My first couple cycles were really late, then it was unusually early.
