Hey Ladies!

Just popping in again. My eating hasn't been on plan but it's been decent. We're still in the hotel and it's hard to eat LC out of a microwave. LOL On top of my decent eating, I've been walking everyday. Since we don;t have a vehicle our main source of transportation is walking. Also our hotel room is on the third floor and there aren't elevators here!! I enjoy it though. I feel like I have so much more energy. Our computer should be here on my bday (June 24th). I can't wait!

On a sad note, hubby found out he will be deploying around Christmas. He leaves for training next month and will be gone for 45 -66 days. He will miss our son's 3rd Bday for training and 4th while he is deployed. That means he's missed 3 of our son's 4 Birthdays. I think I'm going to be coming back stateside during the first half of the deployment. Especially if he is gone for Christmas.

Hope everyone is doing well. I'll pop back in when I can!!

Christina:
I'm happy you're enjoying things in Germany. I hope we hear from you before your birthday, but if not,

Is the hotel comparable to US hotels? I'm glad you're getting lots of exercise. It sounds like, right now, you're sorta on vacation. I hope you enjoy the family time while it lasts, and we'll be here to keep you company through deployment.

Christina, I know you will enjoy him while you can! I can only imagine how much it stinks, if you need us, we're here.....

Won't be online much today...I woke up 7 am and couldn't fall back to my usual Saturday morning sleep b/c I have the strongest and most urgent need to clean, clean, clean....I mean spotless and ultra-sanatized. So I figured I must be in nesting mode, good thing I woke up early cause my body's not catching up the the speed of my brain, clean one thing, sit, clean another, sit...Still a long way to go to be the way I want it.

Hi Ladies,

I'm truly enjoying this lovely Father's Day weekend. DH was so grateful for the card, gift, and love the twins (our nehpews) showed him. I know our time is coming when he will officially be a DAD. God blesses and does things in mysterious ways. I'm grateful today that he chose us to be caretakers of them.

Katy, great pictures of Tucker!

Today I'm on cycle day 16... I've been temping and entering them into Fertility Friend but it still hasn't told me that I've ovulated. I've also been doing OPK's but haven't seen a surge. I've been getting no second line but today there's a faint second line... it was my last test so I don't know if I'm going to buy any more this cycle. I think that DH and I will just keep up the daily grind until Fertility Friend shows an O. I just noticed some ewcm today so maybe ovulation is around the corner. I hope. I have had some pain in my lower right side today... ovulation pain, perhaps? I've never noticed pain before, so I doubt that's what it is.

Anyway... that's where I am on the TTC front.

On the eating front, here's my menu from today:

B: South Beach high protein cereal bar
L: Salad with grilled chicken and light ranch
S: Dannon LightnFit peach yogurt (11 carbs) with a handful of almonds
D: kebabs on the grill with steak, chicken, mushrooms, and zucchini
S: a small apple with peanut butter

I think the EWCM and the pain is a good sign. If you've never noticed it before, why does it make the pain LESS of a symptom? Maybe you've not had a full release recently. I know that I always had ovulation pain, but rarely released an egg due to cysts and stuff. I'd get to work on the grind! Good luck!!!!

Katie: Tucker is so HUGE! And he looks like daddy! (If I say Tucker's handsome, you won't think I'm hitting on your man, now, right?) I can't neglect to mention how gorgeous you look, too. Love those pics; keep 'em comin'!

I'm going to go to bed early tonight in an attempt not to barf.

Okay, ladies, my 30th Bday party and Father's Day are both over...it's time for me to get serious! I really need some help and encouragement during this week while I re-induct (I did it last week but it didn't last long, lol). I will be posting menus for accountability and will weigh in tomorrow and change my profile weight to the TRUTH. I am still mad at myself for gaining after having Tucker, but oh well.

Katy, you can do eet! No reason to be mad at yourself, it's completely natural to have different eating habits after you have a baby. Just think about the lifetime of healthy choices that you'll be teaching Tucker to make by watching you

and ladies! I'll be back and more active after camp next week, pinky swear! I HAVE to, cause once I get back from camp, it's only 1 month to the beach with about 20 of my closest friends They're not as into scary stuff as I am, so I owe it to em to tone up a bit

Thanks everyone for your kinds words about the pics! And, yes, Tucker is huge! He was in the 98% for height at last appt. We go next Monday for his 4 month check.

Today's weight was 207.2. I was 212 when I got pg so at least I didn't gain it all back I guess. My first goal is to be back in the 190s with my Christmas goal being 175. I am of course hoping it to be more but I have to remember that things will go slow this time because of breastfeeding.

Didn't sleep well last night at all, Tucker was kicking and nursing all night. He goes to bed in his crib at first but when he wakes up in the middle of the night, I bring him back to bed with me. I am going to try to stop that once this growth spurt/initial teething thing is over.

Amm, the month I conceived, I had a very strong "cramping" in my ovarian area mid-cycle. I remember trying to do the dishes and the pressure almost made me worry something was wrong with me. I always got O cramping twinges, but it seemed to be more forceful. I had already begun BD'ing at that time, so I always wonder if that was the conception, or a strong, viable O coming through.

Katy, you can do it honey! One day at a time, maybe with nursing you'll have a better chance of losing more weight too!

Stinky! You seem to be so upbeat today. It's so good to see. I must admit that I have not barfed at all yet, though I have spent some time on the bathroom floor. I get more sick at night, so I'm trying a new strategy today. I'm trying to frontload some good food so that I can just snack at night. I had lunch 1/2 hour ago, and I'm trying to wait a half hour before taking my nap. Here's what I've managed to ingest today, with very little trouble (I did have to chew gum on the way to work, though. It's one of my favorite stomach-settlers.)

B: Big glass of chocolate almond milk, 1/3 pb&j on double fiber bread
S: the rest of my pb&j; 1/3 C raisin bran; 2/3 C citrus fruit w/cantaloupe
L: 1/2 BK original chicken sandwhich, a bit of Sprite (helps me burp and feel better) a handful of m&m's
S: (planned): homemade strawberry shortcake w/homegrown strawberries

Amm: When I ovulated this time, I had pregnancy-like symptoms. I felt sick to my stomach and just BAD! Now, I don't remember if we even had time to BD that day, since I felt like poo.

Kat: Good to see you! Get that body bathing suit ready, girl!

Katy: Keep up the good work. Post your menus so we can judge and ridicule! (I mean...encourage and support

Everyone seems to be upbeat today

My menu for today:
B- 2 eggs, 2 turkey breakfast sausage
S- coffee w/cream
L- buffalo chicken salad (from the lady I work for- she adds thinly shredded carrots and I forgot to ask her to leave them out...carrots are not the enemy I am telling myself and there wasn't that many in there!
S- iced coffee w/cream
D- tarragon/parmesan chicken wings, feta/spinach stuffed mushrooms

I have a doctors appt on Thursday- I need a physical- yuckis. DD has her therapy appt today.. bit nervous about that. DH was around most of the weekend and it was nice. A lil bit of an incident with DD throwing out a dig to him about him not being around the past year so he cant comment on how her soccer team is playing and then the rest of the day was tense, but thats okay. I have no idea what will happen with us- sometimes it feels like he is trying tog et on my good side before something bad happens. Whatever. I am trying to take care of DD and myself right now. No rush to make any decisions.

I really want a baby....sometimes I think I should throw him to the curb so I can find myself a new man and then maybe a new baby. Gosh, that sounded awful! It is so weird...I would be happy if DH wanted to make things work and if he didnt want another baby, I would be okay with it. Just take some getting used to!

Kay, back to spring cleaning (I know I am late..it is actually summer cleaning!)
