Katy - I think some places (k-mart maybe?) sell a bundle of the wii and the wii fit together. But they are seperate things. The ninetendo wii is the console and is $250 msrp and comes with wii sports, which is a game. Then the wii fit is $90 - it's a game that you insert into the wii console and the scale/balance board thing. If the wii console is hard to locate, you can use wiitracker.com or wiialert.com to help you find one for msrp. We found ours months ago w/ the wiialert. Good luck with starting LC!! I'm here to cheer you on!!
![]() ![]() ![]() Dessa - it's hot here too. I think 95 today. We also didn't have a spring so this may just be this years trend of insane weather. Try to stay cool and I hope you feel better soon! ![]() Amm - I was confused about the whole vaginal temping thing too so I just kept with the oral temping. Temps can fluctuate but you just need a pattern with a sustained rise to know if you O'd. Some people have a lower temp right before they O too so maybe you're getting close? Although CD7 is pretty early so it probably means nothing. I usually make sure my mouth is closed while reaching for the therm. so it's closed a good 30 seconds before temping. Seems to work for me. Nik - sorry that annabelle is already out. I'm sure the perfect name is right around the corner. Are you still spotting or has it stopped? Belle - come out, come out wherever you are....

Belle: I am SO GLAD to hear from you! I was so worried, and even though you have bad news, it's great to "hear your voice." Like Dessa said (what a wise woman she is!) I have no advice, but am ready to listen any time, all the time. I hope DH's girlfriend gives you the closure you were looking for on this relationship. Perhaps DD's needs will help you ease through this transition in your life, as well. As mothers, it's so much easier for us to see the truth and the way when our children are threatened. I would never suggest that suicidal thoughts are a good thing for anyone to deal with, but I would suggest that we always look for the way to use our circumstance as tools to rise above adversity. We're your Home Depot, girl: You can do this; we can help.

Hey Ladies! Just checking in. We fly out in 2 days!!! I can;t believe it. We're working on getting everything together for our flight. I will begin Atkins within the first few weeks of being in Germany. Once I get my scale I'll weigh myself. I'm around 250 now. so that'll be my start weight even though I'm not starting for a little bit.

OMG...my brain is going to explode. Picked up DD and we are working thru those issues. DH came to the house and she really let him have it. He told me again there is no girlfriend and that I am searching for something that is not there. What I thought was a confirmation, he has talked his way out of. I guess at this point, he needs to decide if he wants to come home, go to therapy and try to fix our marriage. I am not going to chase him anymore. I cant make him love me. It is such a screwed up situation.
Today I will be making phone calls to therapists for my DD and myself. I have a job interview tomorrow. I am getting back on plan today. I am fighting to put my life back together. Will BBL to catch up on all the good news around here. Thank you again girls...

Wow, it's been a quiet day here.
Belle - I'm glad you're calling the therapist today. Keep us updated on when you get to see him/her and how things progress. It definitely sounds like the ball is in his court and you're suffering as a result of waiting on him. Hopefully the therapist will be able to guide you on how to move forward with or without him because it sounds like you need to do that for yourself and for your children. Good luck with the job interview! Oh, and I'm sure it was a side effect of all your stress, but I noticed your siggy weight went down. You're almost at 20 pounds down! That's something to be thankful for! ![]() Christina - woo hoo!! Only 2 more days!! That's so exciting and scary all in one! I bet you're thrilled. I can't wait to hear all about Germany! Nik - haha...I too love the Home Depot line. It's sufficiently goofy enough to make me laugh out loud. ![]() Okay, this heat is so bad already. I'm dreading a long, hot summer. It always makes me want to chop off my hair but alas, I'm trying to resist. Today was good with JC. I've been able to follow the plan perfectly except for a tiny bit of blooming onion the other day. I skipped my dessert that day but I'm sure the onion was more than the 250 calorie dessert that I had planned for that evening. Oh well. I'm crampy and waiting for AF to start....I'm blaming her for any issues with my eating since I'm just in limbo..... B: pancakes w/ veggie sausage - this faux sausage is actually really good L: chicken carbanara (pasta with cream sauce, peas, bacon, and chicken) D: veggie pizza S: lemon cake I found a new salad dressing that I'm going to try tonight. It's a yogurt blended salad dressing so it's naturally lower in fat and calories. I think that's all I have to report. I'm taking tonight off from the wii....I'm sore sadly. See you all later. |

Amber: Thanks for the PM. I can't wait for Thursday! I hope I'll have some baby pics to post at that time.
Belle: Sweetie, honey, sugar...Lots of love for you and DD. Kids are amazing creatures, and they deal with these things in unique ways. What a great and supportive mom you are for trying to help her through. Kudos to you. Christina: Army Wives premiere last night, did you see it? I was too tired, but we tivoed it and I think I'm going to watch it now. I'm so jealous that you get to relocate to Germany. One of my life goals, which will probably come after retirement, is to completely start a new life in a new place, maybe for a year or so. I think it would be so exciting to move with a suitcase and just start over, setting new ground rules and new expectations. Live a little for all of us, will you? I can't wait to get your updates! Katy: How's our baby today? Has he given you diabetes from his cuteness yet? Everyone: I NEED BABY NAMES! My daughter will be born to the name "Poof," which is the nickname DS has given to the fetus so he doesn't refer to baby as "it." HELP! |

Nik - If I wasn't drawing a blank on my own girl names then I'd definitely try to help you out. I still like Annabelle but I also like Abigail. I wouldn't mind having a similar name as a friend or ex-friend. Maybe make it your goal to pay attention to everyone around you over the next few weeks. Listen when moms call their daughters at the store. Listen to what the women are named in your favorite t.v. shows. Watch the credits that roll for names.
My favorite girl names right now, none that seem perfect, include: Madison, Ella, Leah, and Noel If I think of anything else I'll definitely share. |

He's fussy!!! He's teething and very clingy so if I'm not holding him and he's awake, he's crying. Poor guy. Girl names are hard! We never could agree on any. How many syllables are in your last name? That's something to consider so the name isn't sing-songy. We referred to Tucker as "Hanky" from South Park (he's a piece of poo for those who do not watch it) so Poof sounds pretty good! ![]() Belle~Thanks for checking in again. What made you confirm he was cheating? I know you said he talked his way out of it, but what made you think in your mind that he had a girlfriend? How's DD today? Me: Have a huge headache from detoxing my body!!!!!! Argh! My menu for today: Breakfast: 3 scrambled eggs in 1/2 T. butter Snack: Coffee w/ 1 T. cream and Davincis Lunch: Leftover chuck roast and small salad with Newman's olive oil & vinegar dressing (it is awesome, I will never eat Ranch again!) Snack: more coffee as above Dinner: hamburger patty w/ american cheese dipped in mayo & mustard, another salad with dressing. Not sure if I'll have a snack later but if I do it will probably be a hunk of cheese.

Today was a pretty good day. DH seemed different and he was actually suggesting things for us to do this weekend as a family. Maybe DD got through to him a little bit. He said he would think about counseling. DD is okay. It is very scary to go through. I remember my teenage years and man, I would not want to do that again! I made her an appt for next week but I am going to call somewhere else to see if I can get one sooner. I made my appt at a new doctor to get a physical and start working on my well being. Fingers crossed for the job and I am back on plan today! Po- hang in there girl! I am detoxing a bit with you!! We can do this!! OMG I just remembered Hanky and that was too funny!!! Nik- I love the name Annabelle The girl name I am hung up on right now is Juliette. How are you feeling?Amber- My weight actually went up Christina- good luck kiddo! wowweeee!! We will be thinking of you and I cant wait to hear all about it! Dessa- still hot?? I was pregnant with DD thru the summer and it is so hard! Be sure to keep yourself nice and cool ![]() Ladies- thank you again for everything! It means so much to me... I promise I will try to stop being whiney ![]() Where's Mel? Kat- how are you hon? amm- my temps are always really low. Very rarely do I hit the 98's even after O time. Just find what is consistent for you...great job on the exercise! Menu today: B- 3 turkey breakfast sausage S- coffee w/cream L- spinach quiche with dallop of sour cream S- coffee w/cream D- small salad, 1/2 hotdog (tasted too salty) Okay Ladies...gotta get going. Stinky:
Thanks for asking about me. I'm happy to report that I feel like crap! The worse I feel, the more positive I feel about the health of the pregnancy. I'm eating donuts right now because they really help ease my nausea. Are you kidding me?! I'm keeping track of pregnancy signs on Fertility Friend, and I'll give you girls a link as soon as I get the website looking the way I want it to look. Amber: I just realized that you are SOOOO close to the 30 pound mark! Keep it up, girl! You're almost there. Dessa: Being preggo in the summer stinks. My mom reminded me today that I'll be the biggest in the winter, which is nice. However, she also reminded me that in Indiana winter, I'm not so sure on my feet anyway. When my center of gravity is all messed up, it could be a huge problem! ![]() Thanks for the name suggestions. Of those names, I really like Noel, Audrey, and Ava. I LOVE the name Addison, but I'm afraid that it's going to take off like wildfire, with the popularity of Madison and Grey's Anatomy. Otherwise, that would probably be our pick. It's really hard being a teacher, because I think of all the annoying "Heathers" I've had in class. The pool of potential names dwindles every year... SO please keep those suggestions coming! Katy: Love Mr. Hanky! Cute name! Wasn't Tucker born in February? That would mean that you found out about him around this time last year, right? It's amazing how much difference one year can make. |

My head is killing me!!!! I am someone who almost never gets a headache so I have no tolerance for them! I am guzzling the water so my breastmilk supply stays adequate through this change. I am interested to see if Tucker benefits from this; he already has allergies in his eyes and just got round 2 of baby acne. Christina~Good luck with the move! I can't wait to hear all about it! |

So much to catch up on, so few brain cells left to use...
![]() Belle - Sorry things got so bad, but I hope that recent changes are indicative of the path he wants to take. Any luck getting into therapy (you or DD?). I can't imagine how scary it must be to watch her go through that, esp with all you're already dealing with. Maybe it was a good wake up call for DH, tho. ![]() Amber - I love the penguin game - but I stink at it I'm getting pretty good at the yoga I have unlocked and I can ski slalom pretty well, but NOT snow boarding Haven't opened advanced step yet I don't think. Nik - TY, TY, TY for getting me in touch with Carolyn (she says , BTW). I'm gonna start going on investigations as soon as possible I'm not a lot of help on the name-front although I LOVE Addison and Ava, FWIW. I hadn't thought about the teacher element before, but it definitely makes sense. We've all got those names that we can never use b/c of who they remind us of, I bet working with the age group you've got, your list is WAY longer ![]() Katy - your menu for yesterday looks great! Getting started is always the hardest part. KUTGW! Christina - Hope you're having a good day (not that you'll be reading here, but I"m sending you vibes anyway)! Try to stay sane and check in when you can. Amm - Those are pretty names! No advice on the vaginal temping, but do be patient. If this is the first month or so temping, it can take a while to work out the kinks. The biggest thing is to be consistent from day to day. Sleeping with your mouth open can affect the results, but theoretically as long as you're temping under the same circumstances every day, the trend will still show. KUP!Mel - are you managing to stay cool? and for you, chica! to all my ladies I'll try to come back later and chat more ![]()

Hey ladies. I hope you all had a great Tuesday. It's been so hot here but today we're getting some storms. I love sleeping in the rain so I'm hoping they stick around for a few more hours.
I had my 3rd JC weighin today. I'm down 2 more pounds, for a grand total of 11 pounds in 2 weeks. And as Nik pointed out, I'm almost to 30 pounds lost! I'm getting excited. I think I'm on the brink of people being able to notice, which is nice. I was able to wear a few of my 18/20 size shirts the other day too so my closet is slowly expanding in my options. Today's menu: B: blueberry muffin L: beef chow mein D: bbq chicken pizza (i get this 2x per week b/c I love it) S: triple chocolate cheesecake Mel - I'm so sad that you won't be around this summer. You don't have internet at home? Maybe you can sneak over to a public library once in a while to see us. I know we'll all miss you terribly. If you get a BFP while you are gone then you MUST get online and post it for us. ![]() Hi Kat! I stink at the penguin thing too. I can't figure out how to get the red fish. haha Nik - I also like Addision, Ava, and Juliet. What about Annaliese or however you spell it? I'm sure you figure out something in time. Oh, and I love how you're tracking your pregnancy weight gain. I'm honestly shocked that you only went up 1.2 in one week after getting your BFP. I'd have though it would be more from going from LC, ketosis land to water retention, bloat, eating carb land. Guess not. You're doing great on that front so far! ![]() ooo...my pizza is ready. I'll BBL to post more. |

Hi Ladies -
Just popping in to see if any of you ladies have ever tried or know anyone who has tried the OvWatch? I just came across it online one day - had never heard of it before. I was just checking out your posts and thought I'd see if any of you had. I'm gearing up for TTC and want all the tools in my toybox since I'm just 41. Thanks, -Tink |

Tink - I don't personally know anyone who has used it but I'm pretty sure I read some reviews about it before and it seemed to work well. I'm sure one of the women on this thread will know. If you haven't tried it before, I recommend the cheapy internet OPKs. They detected my ovulation on the first try. Good luck and feel free to chat with us through your journey.
