Hi, everyone, was online trying to start a June Expecting Mommies thread, I finally got it up. Looks like there's one other person due before me, so it's probably time for some new baby blood in there, hope to see you guys there soon...
![]() Belle, glad to hear from you, try to eat well, honey, I know I couldn't eat, and I didn't. I actually lost almost 40 lbs during that time.....so take your vitamins at least to keep your body up. I'll be praying for you as always.... Nik, congrats again, and I think most of us kinda had a feeling about you, but didn't want to pry since you were so cool about it. My BFP was the month I said I'm going ease off trying for a while, b/c it was getting too stressful. I think the lack of stress really helps. Congrats on the weight losses, ladies. I'm trying to figure out my after-pg plan...so far my appetite has been small, just small bites here and there, but it's too hot (or something) to eat a full meal. Fruits are in good supply right now, and my new craving is peaches...

Just do the best you can. I am hoping you don't get horrible morning sickness (although I was always thankful for mine because I felt like it was reassuring)! Again, I am totally excited for you and hope you will stay with us! ![]()

Oh Nik, if I had to be upstaged by anyone for any reason, I'd definitely want it to be a BFP news!
I'm so happy for you. I went back and re-read some of your posts for this month and noticed your symptoms. Are you sharing the news with all your friends and family already? Are you planning to call the doctor tomorrow? What is the EDD? I'm guessing around March, right? Or is it February? I'm too lazy to do the math right now. I'd just try to do a LC maintenance diet plan. Just add a carb to your breakfast and lunch and that should do the try. Make it whole grain bread for a sandwich or steal cut oatmeal for breakfast. Or a piece of in season fruit. It should be enough to knock you out of ketosis but not enough to make you gain unreasonably. Obviously though your huge weight loss worked b/c here you are PREGNANT!!! Okay, in other way less important news, I'm down another pound. It's now 26 pounds and I feel the exact same. I think it's partially due to the fact that it's been soooooooooooooooo slow coming off. I think I need to lose .5 more to hit my 10 pound mark on Tuesday at JC. I'm fine not hitting that mark but it would be exciting to be there so quickly. Hi to everyone! Happy Sunday!

Amber:
Congrats on your weight loss! That's a big, notFAT deal!!!!! We've waited so long to get excited for this that I'm not holding back! We're telling everyone. So far, everyone has been really excited for us. DS is so happy! He and daddy went to Toys 'R Us today to pick out baby's first stuffed animal-from his big brother. He's going to be so adorable! The other symptom I noticed is that on O-day, which I think was the ninth now, I was nauseous. I didn't want to eat anything, and I felt strange. I could be a bit further along than I thought, but I really think that because of the negative test on May 20, I O'd on the ninth or so. Assuming an O date of 5/11, the DD is 2/1/09, which really doesn't seem that far away. I will meet with my naturalist tomorrow to get off of any potentially harmful supplements and add anything that I may be deficient in currently. I will call the OB tomorrow, but chances are he'll have me wait a few weeks to go in for my first prenatal appointment. It's been funny explaining to the men in my life that there's really no such thing as a false positive pregnancy test. They all squint at the test and say, "Are you sure...?" Tomoorw, I get started on the nursery! ![]()

Well, Ladies... seems like this month is not my month. AF was due tomorrow but she reared her horribly ugly head today.
![]() That's okay... things happen for a reason and it just wasn't the right time this month. Won't keep me from trying next cycle! ![]() |

Amm - Oh, I'm sorry.
We'll hopefully both get BFPs next month and join Nik and Dessa. Hopefully it's a short AF so you can get back to BDing soon. ![]() Nik - awwww, it's so sweet that your new baby already has his/her first stuffed animal. I'm sure your son is very excited. What do you have in mind for a theme? I can't believe Feb. 1st or earlier - it does seem so soon! Not much going on with me. Happy June 1st everyone! |

2 you Amm. Keep up the great You're not alone. Everyone of us, pg or not have been through this before. Every bfn makes the eventful bfp that much more special. Take your vitamins, sweetie. (I really feel my vitamins pushed me over the top) |

Amm, every month, I would say, "Oh well, one more month for me to get healthier." Yesterday, DH said, "Well, I guess this means you can't get healthier."
You have another chance to work on getting yourself in order. Already, I'm starting to think that I have WAY too much to do before baby arrives! We went online and ordered a shirt for DS that says, "I'm going to be a big brother." He picked it out, and he's so excited to wear it. He's very happy, and we're so blessed to have a kid who is eagerly anticipating his new responsibilities as a big brother. Keep getting healthier; that's all we can do. |
