I'm cool with reading JC menus. No problem here!
Lots of stuff going on, and too tired to type it all. Look-I'm even leaving out the subjects of my sentences. Mr. Morton would be so disappointed (and if you understand that reference, I will love you forever!) In gassy news, yes the ice cream had SA's. I guess I have that reaction to them. On a positive note, I felt like there was NO WAY I could possibly be gaining weight from it, since I seemed to have deflated. Belle: I'm going to steal your nickname! In TTC news, still no sign of AF. I really think I o'd late this time, though, so I'm waiting patiently to test. The good news is that I got drunk on Saturday, so that probably means I AM pregnant. That will give me something to obsess over for the first eight months of pregnancy. I got drunk a few weeks after conceiving DS, too, so it's a trend! Another good sign: I had tender breasts on Saturday (not a common AF sign for me) and a killer "someone is running a knife through the inside of my uterus" pain just a few minutes ago. I remember this extreme, surprisingly sharp and scary type of pain when my uterus began stretching with DS. However, I'm probably making a big deal out of nothing. Wish me luck! I will come up with some exercise plan on the first. Yesterday, my exercise was moving a king sized mattress up the stairs with only the assistance of my incapacitated husband (balancing) and my 65-pound eight-year old (brute strength). I think I worked hard enough! I haven't sweat that much since Orlando last summer. ![]()

Nik, I would definitely have to test right away if AF was even the slightest bit late.
![]() Has anyone used ovulation predictor kits during their cycle to help pinpoint ovulation? I thought I'd try them this month, so I bought a pack of strips. I used one on Saturday afternoon, and the test line was lighter than the control line. I tested on Sunday around 3:00pm and both lines looked the same to me. I asked my husband to confirm but he's colorblind so he had a hard time but said they seemed to look the same. I tested again Sunday night around 9:00pm and the test line looked lighter. I tested yesterday around 5:00pm and there was barely a test line at all... it was very, very faint. Do you think I could have detected my LH surge on Sunday when the lines looked the same? I've never used the OPK's before, so this is new to me. Thanks!

Morning girls,
nik- take the darm test already.... I took one 2 days ago, just cause I figured why not... it was negative and this AM AF arrived... But I am ok with that, like you guys said after I spend intimate time with God I feel rejuvinated and have such a clear understanding that HE is in control of EVERYTHING in my life. I know when the time is right and everything in our lives has fallen into place HE will send us our babies. Until that time we are content to "wait upon the Lord" He promised me that "the fruit of my womb would be blessed" so the way I see it... it's already done! We are just waiting for the manifestation. We want it NOW but He said "wait on Me" and who am I to argue with God? Stinker- I'm glad you had a good day, I hope things continue to look up for you and hubby! Amber- JC menus are fine with me, as long as you don't dissapear, we'll be happy! We don't want you to go away! Everyone HIIIIIII... any Katy I think I need a Tucker fix, any new picks? menu B: eggs scrambled w onions L: sausage and broccoli D: chicken breast and a veggie S: probably some strawberries or veggies ( after church we have refreshments so not sure what will be there) Church tonight.... another dose of God's pressence ![]() ![]() Hugs girls have a great day!

Belle - "Oh behave" <said in best Austin Powers voice> glad to hear that things are going well! Amber - The gym is one I joined a few weeks ago. I did really well the first couple weeks then sorta fell out. But I'm back into it now! I don't have Mario Kart, yet (and apparently am not gonna have Fit anytime soon either ), but I did just buy Harvey Birdman last night My vote on the menu posting: if it'll help you be accountable/stay on plan then I say "Go for it"! Doubt I could give you much guidance or tips, but I'm always interested to see how other plans work!Nik - that does sound like a workout Hope you didn't hurt yourself! Still sending lots of and + vibes your way.Amm - Sounds like you caught the surge when the lines were about the same ![]() Yay, ~40 mins of exercise done for the week! My plan is 3 days of weight/circuit and a couple days of intential cardio (e.g. jogging) and then just try to not be completely docile on the weekends. I did a great weights workout yesterday, being very deliberate and slow in my movements, and boy do I feel it today. It was another good day with my goals, too, so I'm trying to ride this positive tide as long as I can. Forcing myself to be introspective instead of just shoving the food in my face is not always as hard as I expected ![]() Make it a great day, ladies! ![]()

Hey girls! Happy Tuesday evening!
Mel - you sound so happy and refreshed today. Your menu looks great too. Kat - good job with the exercise. What's Harvey Birdman? Nik - okay, I didn't catch the reference to Mr. Morton. I even tried to cheat and google it but it pulled up way too much stuff to try to figure it out. Please share... I also can't believe you haven't tested. You are far too disciplined girlie. I'll be sending you some baby dust, sticky dust, and sanity dust. Did you chart? Have a pretty solid confirmed O? Anything that I can obsess about? I'm about 1/2 way through this cycle and then we'll start TTC next month. I can't wait to rejoin the obessesion. Katy - OMG, he is too cute. I love the outfit! Thanks for sharing your JC experience. It's funny 'cause the food probably is still the same. It really hasn't changed much since I did it 2.5 years ago and back then I loved the fajitas and french toast too. Mmmm... I hope your back gets better soon. ![]() Amm - yes, it definitely sounds like you caught your ovulation. Have you tried charting too? I am a charter and was always able to pinpoint my O in my cycle, but after I O'd and had 3 consecutive high temps. My cycles are pretty irregular so I couldn't tell when I was fertile. I tried OPKs the cycle I got my BFP and my second line on the OPK never got as dark as the control line. But I knew it was my surge since it got darker for about 3 days and then had no line at all afterward. My temps confirmed that the OPK detected the surge. I'll be using them again next month. All tests seem to work slightly different but based on what you said, you probably had fantastic timing.

Belle - so you and your husband just aren't talking about it? Hopefully that means he's at least thinking about it and reconsidering. Things do seem to work in weird ways - maybe this will be your cycle?
Okay, so my first full day on JC was good. All of the food tastes great but I was very hungry on and off all day long. I wasn't doing LC last week but I was eating lower carb than this so it's been a big switch. I also wasn't eating this much fruit or milk so it's been interesting/weird/a nice change of pace/etc. I'm on JC's 1700 calorie menu. When I get below 250 I'll be switched to the 1500 calorie menu. At under 200 pounds I'll go to 1200 calories. The plans don't go below 1200. My menu is essentially this every day: B: fruit, milk, JC meal S: fruit, anytime bar or yogurt L: veggie or salad, JC meal S: fruit; 1 fat, 1 starch, 1 protein (so 1/2 sandwich w/ 1 oz meat or cheese and WW crackers) D: veggie, JC meal S: JC dessert, milk They want you to eat every 2-3 hours. When I drop calories I'll lose the weird 1 fat, 1 starch, 1 protein snack and just eat fruit and/or veggies as an afternoon snack. I figure for this I'll put p'nut butter on my apple or use a smidge of butter or cheese on my veggie. I doubt I'll make a piddly 1 oz meat sandwich. Today's JC meals were: pancakes w/ veggie sausage, meatball stuffed sandwich, bbq chicken pizza, and cookies and cream cheese cake. The best thing I ate today was perfectly LC so I'm recommending it to you all. I bought those ziplock steamer bags and put in it some fresh cut brocolli florets and a tiny bit of cut up carrots. I put a dash of garlic salt in it and steamed for 5 minutes. Dumped it in a bowl and sprayed it with the I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray (obviously you girls can use real butter) and it was so good. The carrots almost tasted like sweet potatoes. Yumm.... Alright, please let me know if I shouldn't post my food choices. I'm going to keep doing it unless and until someone says not to or PMs me not to. I understand that the cravings can be hard to fight sometimes. I'll probably be fighting cravings for juicy steaks in about 2 days - ![]() See you girls tomorrow. |

Hey Amber- thank you for posting your menu- no worries here for cravings. I will be curious to see how you progress and how you are with hunger. WW killed me- I was sooo hungry! I probably didnt eat enough though- you know how paranoid we all get!
DH and I haven't spoken about it. I am quite honestly afraid to bring it up..I am hoping that he is thinking about things and how are life can be. I am willing to keep things how they are as long as we work towards healing... I guess it is a positive note that he still comes to me for BDing, well...you know...action! Not lights, camera, action but aaaaction (in a slow sexy voice ) Kat- the voices again!!!Nik- could ya please test already??!!! |

Belle-Hope things are going well! I know all about house selling woes. DH and I are going through that, too ![]() Amber-good luck with your new program! I'm interested to share in your journey! Tucker is so cute! I would love a boy next time! Hi to everybody else (still learning names/situations here)I am adding 4.5 hours to my 20 hour exercise goal. 3.5 hours cardio and 1hour weight training thus far. I think that I'm right on goal. I don't think I've lost any weight this week, but I'm Oing...so lots of extra water weight. I'll try to get back again sooner. Things have been crazy lately! |

Mr. Morton is the main character in the School House Rock grammar series about "subjects." I know I'm not supposed to do this, but I want you all to be able to hear this if you'd like: http://www.school-house-rock.com/sounds/pred.html
Today was DH's birthday, so I thought it was as good a day as any to test. BFN! WTH? I'll be scheduling an app't with my gyn next month, and I'm ready to try clomid again. I really don't want to do it, but I think it's time. |

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I hope you don't end up feeling "used" by your husband, especially if you guys aren't talking about things. I just don't want to see you more hurt. ![]() Amber~Post your menu! I will enjoy re-living my JC experience! Ha! I have to say though that the tuna and chicken salads always reminded me of cat food! ![]() Nik~Ya gotta go with your heart re: the Clomid. I for one, don't regret any of the medical interventions. Let us know what you decide. I was charting and every month I showed that I O'd but my blood tests wouldn't confirm it, so they think I was a "weak ovulator." I guess my body would maybe release eggs that weren't quite mature? Not really sure, but the Clomid was prescribed to strengthen my O. I know you've been on it before and know what it's for but thought I'd share my experience. |

Good Morning girls,
I am having a blessed day today! Here's my menu B: sausage and eggs w/ onions L: chicken breast w/ broccoli D: not sure .... S: same as dinner I know my menu isn't very informative but I think I need to cook tonight... (or in other words HUBBY will be cooking tonight , he loves to cook so who am I to argue ? )Nik- sorry honeyBelle- Sweety please don't get offended ( and feel free to stop reading right here if you want to) but I agree with Katy, make sure you are not being taken advantage of. Your feelings and your marriage are important too, not just physical needs. ![]() ![]() Trust me when I say I have been in your shoes, and the only thing that healed my marriage was Jesus in our lives, but for that healing to begin hubby and I had to sit down and put EVERYTHING on the table no matter how much it hurt, and if he wasn't willing to do that we could not have received our healing.Have a great day girls! |

OMG, Nik, I love School House Rock. They are the best series. I'll never forget conjunction junction as long as I live.
I've already told my husband that we'll get these for our future kids one day b/c they're so cute. Katy - mmmm....cat food. I too am not a fan of those. I'll be back to post more later... Nik - sorry about the BFN. Definitely look into clomid and other options. I think I'll do the same thing when I get to a healthier weight. You really have no reason to hold back and if clomid helps you get pregnant then I'd definitely try it. ![]() |

That is fabulous!!!! Great job Belle!
![]() ![]() Tucker turned 3 months old today and rolled over for the first time!!!! ![]() I did my YBB video again last night! Yay me! And I am SORE! The DVDs came with a little month-long rotation schedule so I am trying to commit to doing what it recommends each day for 30 days and then re-evaluate things. My eating seems to be more in control as well. I decided to take out the word "diet" and see how I do. I am only weighing once a week so on Monday I'll let you girls know if I am making any progress. |

Belle -
Hurray!!!!!! Congrats on getting to your first goal of 15 pounds!! That's huge!!!!! I'm so proud of you! As far as your dh goes, just make sure you are getting what you need from the current situation. Make sure you start taking the necessary steps to protect yourself financially, emotionally, etc. if things do go south. Hopefully it doesn't happen but you do need to be ready. Katy - yeah for Tucker!! It's crazy he's already 3 months! I bet you were so proud when he rolled over. How cute! So another day done. I'm still exhausted - extremely exhausted. I hope it's like any other plan and I get past this headachy stage in another day or so. My food was really good today. I had: B: banana nut muffin L: mac 'n cheese D: turkey burger with tons of steamed veggies Tomorrow I'm eating out with friends for lunch so I'm going to just make the best choices I can. It's a sandwich shop so it shouldn't be too bad. I'm just going to forgo the cheese and mayo. Alright, I'm off to watch t.v. and get ready for tomorrow. I'll see you all tomorrow. |

Katy:
I was too self-absorbed to say that the Tucker picture is AWESOME! What a cutie. Are you keeping up on your blog? I will have to go back and check out new pics. Can you repost the link? I'm glad you all love Grammar House Rock. It's awesome! My fave is the interjection song. "In-terjections! Show excitement! Or emotion! They're usually set apart from a sentence by an exclamation point, or by a comma when the feeling's not as strong." Reason 102 that it ROCKS to be an English teacher! ![]() Clomid: It makes me crazy. We're definitely getting hubby tested regardless of my decision, because he's had two hernia repairs since DS was conceived. The mesh around the spermatic cord can cause an inadvertent vasectomy, so his little swimmers need a checkup, IMO. |
