Had a good mother's day, my mom got my sisters and I the same gifts for mother's dayu she said they were for her daughters who are moms and for her daughter who is a mom in spirit (that's me) my family is really great, they always remember not to leave me out or make me feel bad.

Good Morning Everyone!! Hope ya'll had a fabulous weekend!

I went to our pre-moving breifing with housing on Friday. Seems simple enough. We have our final inspection on the 27th and then it's off to MA for two weeks then the big trip to Germany!! We have to leave our puppy with DH's family until October. We will miss him tons but I couldn't bear to get rid of him just because he can't fly with us. Still have no idea when the movers will be here.... DH is supposed to be setting that up today. I'll keep ya'll updated!!

Hey girls! I'm BACK!!!! Miss me???

So Miami was fun. Work stunk but only took up one day and the rest of the time was great. I cannot say anything good about my eating though. I started off with choosing scrambled eggs, steak and veggies, salads, etc. I ended the weekend with chocolate fondue and cheesecake. Need I say more? I saw a bunch of girlfriends from college and we threw an impromptu bachellorette party for a friend. No stripper was involved but there was plenty of fun.

On baby related news, I started my first post-MC AF. It was a happy and sad feeling all at the same time. It started almost exactly one month post MC so that's a very good sign (at least I think it is). I'm on board to wait one more cycle, per doctor's orders, and then start TTC again next month. I really can't wait. I'm going to start temping this month again - maybe tomorrow.

It sounds like a few people want to avoid the month weight challange this month, which is fine with me. It was a great tool last month but changing things up is always good too. Maybe we can do personal goals? Or exercise related goals? 25 hours of exercise for the group this month? Or something like that?

Since we just had mother's day, Happy Mother's Day to all of you! Hopefully we'll all celebrate next mother's day with new babies.

DH's surgery went really well this morning. Everything went as planned, and hubby's feeling better now that he's home. Let's hope that we hit the jackpot this weekend, because there will be no more BD'ing for awhile.

My stance on the weight loss challenge is that I'll gladly weigh in weekly, but weight loss cannot be my focus right now. I'm clearly at a plateau, and I'd rather eat wholesome, LC foods that nourish my body than worry about every single ounce. I need to allow myself time to adjust to this 93 pound weight loss. In a few weeks (or even months), I can re-induce to try to lose more. Or, you know, I could gain forty baby pounds. That would be fine with me.

You are about to get really busy, huh? My husband is dying to go to Germany (he loves beer, ha!) so you'll have to let us know how you like it!

Of course we missed you! Sounds like you had fun though! I am all for a different kind of goal. The exercise one sounds great! I am really ready to get back into doing my videos!

Glad to hear your DH is doing well! and Wow! 93 pounds is so awesome girlie!!!! I am still so awed by you and your success!

I am doing well (not eating-wise but that's another story, haha). My husband has willy nilly decided to be a firefighter. His dad is one and he is retiring in December. There is a nepotism rule so it wasn't even an option for dh until now. He is super excited. Since Ryan will have to get in tip top shape, I am going to join him. It will be great to do this together. And of course, I am excited to be married to a hot firefighter too!

It may take a bit for him to get hired because after 9/11, those kinds of careers really took off. We are hoping with high scores on the physical and written tests, plus his dad's contacts he can get hired within a couple of years.

Hiya Girls! Sounds like everyone is doing great!

Things have been super busy around here. I am back on plan- no Weds weigh in for me this week. I will catch up next week. I dont feel like I really gained anything- just need to get my body back into ketosis. On TTC note, it is almost time to O. Of course, DH has Army crap this weekend so this cycle might be a wash...

I will BBL to post my menu- I need to get cooking my LC goodies today- stock up the refrig!

about goals... I think an exercise goal would be perfect because it's something WE can control unlike the weight which we can't control. PLUS I have been a BUM and haven't done any exercise AT ALL, I need to get to it so I think we sould do it!

Well currently my AC is out at home and it's HOT here in Texas so I won't be adding the excersize in until our AC gets fixed, not sure when we'll have the time to get it done. Until then I go up and down the stairs several times a day at work.

Are we each setting our own exercise goals? Mine is going to be on hold until we get to MA and then it's going to be 5 hours at the gym a week (I'll be there for two weeks). Then when we get to Germany I'll decide what is resonable given our circumstances when we get there. I will be MIA for at least a few weeks.

Hi Ladies.

I am afraid I come with bad news. I know I mentioned to you all that I was having troubles with my DH since his return from his deployment. It is such a long story. I thought things were getting better but apparently not. He asked me for a divorce. I am so shocked and crushed. I truly believe the man that came home to me is not the same as when he left. He wont talk to anyone and never really tells me whats going on. I dont think he is cheating on me but who knows. We stopped TTC (well, I am always hoping) while we worked on things. I never hid anything and we never avoided. I guess in my sick mind I hoped a baby would bring us back together.

I have pulled a HAil MAry and sent him 1,000s of emails. I am begging him to seek counseling with me as a couple. Couples work through horrible things with help but it feels like he just wants to avoid everything. I am so scared for my kids and for myself. I have not protected myself like I should have.

So bottom line, my wonderful friends, I dont think Getting Healthy for a Baby is my place anymore. Kinda need a husband for that! I would like to stick around for the WL part though...is that okay?

Oh, Belle...I know that I don't know the right things to say here. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I hope that everything works out for the better in the long run. I know I barely know you...but if you ever need an ear, you've got one!

Thanks so much shanidy..I truly appreciate it. The past day has been so hard for me. I havent eaten since yesterday at lunch..been crying all the time...I know I need to be strong for my kids but holy crap- I was not ready for this!

I hope he agrees to couples counseling for your children's sake, if nothing else. Please do stay with us. We all sometimes TTC and sometimes don't, but we're all trying to lose weight. You're a permanent part of our family here and we all want you to be here no matter what. I'll post more later tonight. I hope that things get better quickly for you.

Belle- HOney I am so sorry for you, I am acctually crying right now. I can not understand what he is going through after being at war, it must be horrible. And I hope he agrees to go to counseling with you. I know from my own marriage that things can be repaired and end up better than they ever were. I will be thinking of you and praying for healling in your marriage.

Please stay with us here, it's not just about babies it's about the journey we are on thlose weight also and you are a HUGE part of our family here! We love you!

It is so hard to think of my life any different than it is right now. I mean I am not a spring chicken anymore! To have to start my life over is so overwhelming. I am torn because if he has asked for the divorce, he really doesnt want to be here. But maybe his judgement is clouded..I dont know. We have been married for 16 years and together for 18. Half of my life has been with this man.

He said he has done everything he can to feel better about things but nothing has worked. He really hasnt done anything though! What talked with his friends? Spent more time with me? nope...

This might sounds crazy and please give me your thoughts...Can a couple remain faithful to each other as a couple and as parents but live apart? Is that crazy?? Maybe if we lived apart and went to therapy? I mean..we need to find what works, right? And I am not ready to NOT have him in my life...

I am so happy that you guys are here for me. I dont really have anyone to talk with. I dont want to stress my parents out and honestly, I dont have too many good enough friends. My head is spinning..I should probably eat something...

Belle - is he still at home or has he moved out? Of course you can be faithful and work on your marriage while being apart. It more than likely has nothing to do with that. He sounds like he's been struggling for a while and needs to get counseling. Have you been able to speak with him since he asked for the divorce? Does he think counseling is an option? Is he set on his decision?

If you do end up getting a divorce, then please realize that you are still VERY young and I promise you'll be okay. I hope that you both can heal your relationship and he can move forward with your family, but if not, I know without a doubt that you'll be fine. From knowing you the short time I have on this site, I can tell that you're extremely smart, funny, beautiful, loving, etc. You'll be okay. We're all here for you in every way.

He has moved out. I am ashamed to admit he has been out of the house for a year. I wish I told you girls that part of my life but it was just so painful. I think we have spent all this time just avoiding everything. And recently I have been putting a ton of pressure on him to make a choice. In reality, I should have been looking for other options on how to heal us. We have been living like a couple all this time- the only real difference was that he wasnt in the house. That must sound so crazy to you all.

We have not had a chance to speak about everything. I just emailed him a "Plan" for us to try. Counseling and better ways to start dealing. I hope he considers it. I set it up like a business plan- pretty funny. I am hoping to see him within the next couple days.

I have a wicked headache. I finally ate some salad for dinner. I finally stopped crying for a little while...

I am sorry I have taken over the posts with all this..I really needed you guys and I am so happy you are here (and thanks to Kat for coming out of hiding!)
