Diva cup question
Hi ladies,
I just received my Diva cup and so i used it for the first time. Insertion was fine, but I thought the removal hurt. Is it supposed to stay wide open during removal? Anyone else have this experience? Mary |

I kind of pinch mine a bit to remove it, but I don't fold it completely or it leaks too much. Mine never hurts to remove, but it kind of pinches a little bit occasionally, when removed and also when inserted. I guess it's kind of hard to explain. Maybe try to remove it when you know it won't be completely full and then you could try to fold it a little more if possible. Have you checked the divacup website? Maybe they will have some helpful information

Here's the best site for Diva Cup info.
Definitely pinch it to break the seal before pulling it out. I sort of pinch and wiggle the whole way. |

Jenny, I did try the Diva cup web site and didn't find as much info as I've found in the LCF threads
![]() Becky, the link you provided was very interesting and provided me with pertinent information. Thanks to both of you. Mary |

I hope you find it gets easier with time, I know it did for me. I had to cut the stem because it was poking me, I was kind of afraid to cut it because I thought it would make it harder to remove, but it is much more comfortable now that the stem is shorter. I love the diva cup. I no longer have to worry about how many tampons to bring with me when travelling, I just need the diva and I'm good to go! I also sleep better and more comfortably at night. The diva cup doesn't leak at night like tampons did
