Need some feedback on my situation!

For the most part I am a lurker on these boards. My name is Jessica I am 29 and have 4 children. Ages 6-12. I am on point each month with my cycle. I am every 28 days ovulating on the 14th day without fail. I do not test for ovulation because I feel it and it hurts bad. So anyhow this time I was to ovulate on the 30th of march and I felt it but not like i normally do, it wasnt as painful, so that would put my period due on the 12th of April. I am never late. Well on the13th i spotted some brownish discharge. then on the 14th a little more brownish stuff with a spot of pink on the toilet paper. well now I have nothing. It is gone. I did have intercourse around ovulation and I am concerned I may pregnant. But I did take a test on the 12th and it came up negitive from the dollar store. what are your thoughts?

Hi Jessica

It is pretty hard to say...are you stressed at all? Have you lost weight? Opps- just saw your stats and you have lost weight- that could be part of the problem- your change in diet. These factors could affect your period. It could have been implantation spotting as well. You will want to keep testing just in case. I would say if you are very worried, call your doctor. Unfortunately, all you really can do is wait and see!

well I guess I will just have to wait and see. I haven't been stressed. I iwll test again friday if I dont get my period. Thanks for the input.

Sounds like it could be implantation bleeding to me.

I'd be tempted to take another test....and stay out of ketosis until you know for sure that you aren't pregnant

How is everything? With my last pregnancy I just knew I was pregnant and took about 3 tests and they were all negative. I finally called my OB and asked their advise. His nurse said to wait another week. It was torture but I did because I couldn't afford another test LOL. Sure enough the next test taken was positive. Did you test or call your doctor? Talking to the nurse is always reassuring to me. Hope all is well.

I also had the brownish spotting my last pregnancy(last May) and I took a test in June since I wasn't feeling well and thought I was pregnant, came back negative(this was about 2-3 weeks after the spotting. So, I blew it off and thought I wasn't. Well, around the beginning of July I started getting morning sickness bad. Went to the Dr and they did a test and it came back positive.

So, it really could be that you are!! I hope it turns out either way for the best for you and your family. This was my 4th baby and a total surprise since our youngest was 7 at the time. But a good surprise!!

We are done now though since I am fixed now!!
