Congrats Amber!! You said you used OPK's. Do you think if I went to the store tonight and started using them they could help? (according to MyMonthlyCycles.com, I should be Oing on the next week. is it too late to use them this month? I don;t temp or anything, just track AF)

Nik - Still hoping you get your BFP this month as well.

Mel - Congrats on the move. If no one is moving before June than I guess that torch belongs to me now LOL

HI Everyone else. I'll check back later

Nik - ! I can't wait to hear your official announcement so I can officially do the happy dance (<--- but I'm secretly doing it for you anyway )

Amber - yes, I'm happy to report that the kitchen is unpacked and stocked with groceries I am on day 2 back on plan and my weight this am was around 179, so I don't seem to have done too much damage. Offiical weigh in tomorrow. I bet it's gonna be strange for you to be excited watching the scale start to go up as the baby's growing I'm so happy for you, I just wanna hug ya!

Mel - thanx for getting us started

& Belle, Dessa, Christina, Amm and everyone!

At day 2 back on track I'm already feeling better. I made up a menu for the week and then spent about 3 hours at the grocery (it's weird and fun trying to figure out a new store )

I think I forgot to tell you all that in the process of the move I made my first baby purchase I've waited a while, but boy did I do it We found a convertible crib on sale, so we bought it and are using it as a regular headboard now (but it'll be one less thing to buy when we find out we're PG and/or getting a placement in a few months). It was pretty exciting, but I don't think I'm ready to start scoping out clothes yet

Nik~I am so excited for you and can't wait to see your BFP too!!!!!

Regarding the discussion of due dates on the March thread, I know when I got pg with Tucker since I was on Clomid and had the HSG that month. According to my LMP, my due date was Feb. 26th. Every single sonogram said Feb. 20th so my dr. changed my due date and by golly if my water didn't break on Feb. 20th! My dr. said there is a 5 day margin of error for each due date and I was just within that range.

Wow, you were right on with your DD! I personally would love an 8-8-8 baby, that's only a day after the EDD.

Okay girls, so I need prayers. My spotting turning into a bit more blood and the doctor had me go for lab work. I have my numbers and have to go back on thursday to make sure everything is doubling properly. It's so frustrating and hard b/c it's something you want so bad and it takes so long to get here that it's so hard to imagine that it might not be the right time.

I'm definitely not disappearing but wanted to let you know what's happening. I'll post more on Thursday once I get an answer but may not be here tomorrow. I've been googling too much scary stuff and might ban myself from the computer for a day or two.

Christina - yes, I definitely recommend the OPK. I got the cheapies from the internet (like 50 cents each) and used them every night after work. You can start using them any time before you O - just need the second line to be as dark or darker than the control line and it means you'll O w/in 24-48 hours. My second line never got that dark but when it got almost as dark we used that as our indicator.

I'm getting off the computer now. Just wanted to let you all know that it's been a rough and exciting and sad start to everything. I'll let you know though how it goes and be back later this week.

Morning Ladies,

Nik- honey I'm sorry about AF.

Amber- Still thinking of you and praying for you.

Christina- Yikes I'm confused..so is it Germany again?.. sorry things are so hectic for you. Congrats on you weigh in.

Kat- how's the unpacking coming along? we are getting there, I went full steam all weekend and there really isn't much left to unpack.

Dessa- Hiya hope you are doing well... any word on the boy or girl front? Inquiring minds want to know!

Katy- Hi girlie, give Tucker a kiss for me. Has he been feeling better? I know you said he wasn't feeing well a few days ago... tummy problems maybe?

Did I miss anyone???? Well if I did Hi to everyone!

Wed-weigh-in Same as last week.. 237.5... not too bad considering all the late night eating (on plan but VERY late) I've been doing and my crazy schedule from moving.

Here's my menu today
B: 3 eggs scrambled w/ onion
L: Pork roast, celery and peanut butter
S: string cheese
D: probably chicken or pork roast, w/ sauteed mushrooms.

They are supposed to come fix my fridge tonight that they show up and get it working. Living out of a cooler is no fun! But at least we have a cooler and I'm not living off crackers and ramen!

Have a great day and may God's face shine upon you!

Weigh in Wednesday: 177.4 - thank goodness for those first few water lbs from getting back into ketosis

Tentative menu for today:

b: coffee w/ cream and benefiber
l: salad
s: string cheese
d: garlic butter flank steak w/ onions and peppers and kale gratin

Dinner'll be my first real meal in the new kitchen, I'm excited!

Kat- it may seem like I'm a rock star but... our duplex was only 850 sq feet so we don't have very much stuff to unpack.... the new house is 2300 sq feet. so it looks spacious with our little bit of furniture in it . A friend is letting us borrow some of her furniture to fill the space till God gives us more of our own furniture. Can't wait to get it in order and get you guys some pics.... I'll be working on it some more tonight.

Oh yeah congrats on the weigh in!

We were in a similar boat - little under 1000sqf old house, around 2000 new one. It looks so empty but isn't it so nice to spread out! I actually found a drawer in my kitchen this morning that never got used and I forgot about Now that the kitchen's totally unpacked, I've got no idea what to use it for

Congrats back at ya for dealing with the move with no scale change! See you really are a rockstar

It's a good boat to be in better than a smaller house and having too much stuff!

HEY GIRLS!

Amber: When you get back to us, know that you were in our thoughts during your absence. I am sending you positivity and light; I hope you are feeling surrounded by love. *praying*

Mel, Kat: Congrats on the new homes! I know exactly what you mean about the house feeling empty. Mine seems to be coming around after four months, but there's still one room that's completely empty (the nursery).

Kat: I didn't WANT to cook a meal in my new kitchen, because I didn't want to get rid of the new house smell. It was just last month that I broke down and fried some bacon. It was kinda painful, actually.

Dessa: Beautiful name! Congrats on your baby boy. I'm so happy to hear that things are going well for you. Who else wants to share baby names? I have a boy name picked out, but I won't share unless other people do. I need a girl name, though. I'm having a heck of a time. I think it's one of those things that she'll let me know her name when it's time. I don't know why, then, the boy's name is so clear.

Katy: Keep those pics of Tucker coming. He's our inspiration!

OK, re: AF: She's killing me! This is really the worst it's been since I've been cycling on my own. It's the third time, so it makes some sense that I would be still trying to regulate, but DEAR GOD HAVE MERCY! When I went to bed last night, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to move in the morning because the cramps were sending shooting pains down my legs, making it painful to move. This morning, my back hurt so much that I had to waddle. I took some Advil and used a hot pad, which helped tremendously. Then, I couldn't stand up straight still because my pubic line was BURNING! My C-section scar sometimes hurts during my period (I think I have a touch of endometriosis in the incision), but this time, it felt like the scar was being ripped open again. OUCH! Thank God I'm feeling better tonight, though it still hurts to move from a sitting position to a standing position. AND YOU SHOULD SEE MY FACE! I want to take new status pictures, since I've lost more than the ten pounds, but my skin is TERRIBLE! I can only hope that it will be over soon, so we can get back to our BD'ing!

Oh yeah, and today's weigh-in: 207.6 !!!!!

Good Morning Girls,

Nik- Hope AF gives you a break soon, sorry to hear you are not feeling well....

Amber- Still thinking of you.

ok baby names
Girl- Alexis Rae (Alex is my hubby's name and Rae is my middle name)
Boy- Collin Stephen ( Stephen is my dad's name) and Jacob Blair (Blair is my FIL's middle name,it's Scotish, might be with an e at the end I'm not sure.)

I also like Brenna for a 2nd girls name not sure about middle name.

I am tired!!!!!!!!

Didn't do any work on the house yesterday. I was driving home and realized that my inspection was expired so I stopped to do that. Then by the time I got home I decided to just bum around the house and do NOTHING! Well I did wash dishes but that doesn't really count. Maybe I'll accomplished something tonight.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Here's my menu
B: 3 eggs
L: pork roast and sauteed mushrooms
S: string cheese
D: probably pork loin or chicken sausage and some celery.

The fridge didn't get fixed last night. I think I'm gonna start looking on Craig's list for one.

Have a blessed day ladies!

Nik -Ouch! Hope you're feeling better today I loved cooking last night, but I think you're right, the new house smell was still gone this morning - still smelled like steak and pancetta Don't worry about your empty room, I'm sure it'll be filling up soon

Mel - I'd say you deserve a night off with all the work you've been doing! I your names. I think it's really neat when there's a special connection there, as you can see in mine, too ETA missed the part about the fridge - no fun. Hope something turns up

Names:
Boy - Daniel Thomas (his dad's first name, my dad's middle)
Girl - Katherine/Kathryn Grace (name of my 2 closest friends and similar to my first which is Kathleen, and the first name of DH's great grandmother, who is one of the most amazing women I've ever met - still kickin up a ruckous at the age of 102 )

Did good eating-wise yesterday. New recipe for kale turned out really well

Plan for today:

B: coffee w/ extras
L: salad
S: string cheese
D: ground turkey & beans bake

The crazies are coming out around here so it's pretty interesting Hope everyone's having a slightly *less* interesting day

Hi gals!

Just popping in to send along my prayers for Amber...been thinking about her like crazy...

I have been trying to catch up on posts but I think I just need to jump right in! I did my food shopping and I am starting to get out all my yummy recipes. I am starting tomorrow and I am actually thrilled to do so! I am going to hate my weigh in but need to face up and move forward. If I can't control anything else in my life right now, I can control my health. Af is getting ready to depart so onto another cycle. No pressure, just going with the flow (or no flow, no pun intended!haha)..

Looking forward to catching up with everyone HUGS!

Belle said: If I can't control anything else in my life right now, I can control my health.

If it's ok with you, I'm gonna add that to my siggy. I think it's something that I need to be reminded of more often - binging isn't the answer, why not take control!

Christina - Where did the name Shaelyn come from? Never heard it before, but it is so beautiful and unique!
