Gosh Belle, I didn't realize you had two kids, much less a 15 year old and 11 year old! I hope that I'm not too nosey by asking, but what made you decide to have another now? Please take absolutely no offense to this statement...I just didn't know if you were trying for the last 10 years or if you planned to space them or what... How do your kids feel about having another sibling? I remember when I was 11 and my BFF's mom had a baby. I was so jealous that I didn't have a baby sibling and I begged my parents to have another. They looked at me like I had 2 heads!
![]() My TTC recap: My DH and I are both 27. We're currently childless and really hope to be blessed with a child ASAP. I'm charting and going to be adding OPKs to the mix (once I get them). I've been not TTA since June '07 but would really like to start actively timing and doing other things to speed things along now. Today was a crazy day for me. I'm exhausted and going to grab some water and take my PNV. I'll BRB.

No offense taken at all
We started our family very young (I was 19 when I had DD) and we always said that it gave us plenty of time to enjoy our family. About 2 1/2 years ago, my DH decided we should try for another one. I was totally floored by his comment because I thought we were all done! Of course, me being the female, it took me all of two seconds to say "Okay!" ![]() My kids are so excited to add another child to the family. My daughter told me we better hurry up or she would be in college by the time the baby came! Gee, thanks kiddo!! So, for these two kids, we were the "young" parents and for this baby, we would be the "normal" parents hahaSorry your day was so tiring Amber- can you do some Sunday sleeping in tomorrow? My DD doesn't have soccer practice until later so I am all over sleeping in...of course, I will set my alarm clock so I can temp at my normal time! I really think I should wait another day to test but I am just soooo anxious....I bought a EPT test that cost me a bloody fortune....if I do test and it is BFN, I promise not to buy any more expensive tests. I will go to Dollar Tree to get some cheapies...Okay- off to pick my social DD up from a sweet sixteen birthday party...yup, now I am feeling old!!! |

I'm hoping tomorrow will be a sleep in day. I'm going to go and get in bed now and watch some tivo'd shows. See you all tomorrow. |

Hey all. Busy day today, but I just had to check in. We had a funeral this morning in Cincinnati and a wedding this afternoon in Louisville. Lots of travel, and we're not headed home until tomorrow afternoon...
I'm 28 yo w/8 yo DS. He was born when I was 19 (Thank GOD!). When he was 3 1/2, we decided to start thinking about trying. I cycled on and off hormones and birth control, had accupressure therapy, used vitamin supplements, and took clomid. Since we had no luck in about four years, I started Atkins as a last resort on August 25, 2007. (I have chosen not to have any further hormone therapy.) I have lost almost 90 pounds since then, have had two natural cycles, and have been charting for two months. We're hoping that I'm starting to ovulate and will be conceiving soon.

Belle - don't give up all hope just yet. Your temps are still rather high, especially compared to the coverline. And if AF does show up this week, at least look at the positives. You seem to have really regular cycles with really strong looking ovulation signals. And you get to stay and post with us for another month!!
![]() Dessa - it's nice to see you! How are you doing? Nik - wow, yesterday was crazy for you. Hopefully you can find some time to relax today before re-starting another busy week. I'm so amazed by your WL every time you post it - it's fantastic!! We have a BBQ to attend today and that's it. I'm going to go crawl back in bed for a little while longer... BBL. |

Alright, I'm back from my travels and only slightly exhausted from the experience
![]() Belle - I know the emotional roller coaster is so hard! Try to stay positive about the whole thing - even though it's really hard to do. It ain't over till the witch shows and these things are quite out of our hands, so come here to vent, stomp, pout and anything else that'll make you feel better so you can keep a positive outlook ![]() Christina - Loved the pics! Thank DH for me when you get a chance (where's a salute smilie when ya need one ) Congrats on your new size ![]() Amber - have fun at the BBQ! I slept in this morning too, couldn't resist - and it was everything I hoped it would be ![]() Mel - The Lord is mighty and wonderful indeed! I'm giving thanks for the blessings you've been given and the ones you're about to be that you don't even know about yet! ![]() Nik - I've said it before and I'll say it again: 90 lbs is just ![]() and ![]() It looks like we were road buddies yesterday; I made the Cincy - Louisville trek @ about 3p Don't know who it was, but sorry about the funeral - always hard ![]() Dessa - Thanks for stoppin by Hope everything's going well and that you're feeling better ![]() I'm missed you ladies, but I had so much fun playing with my GB. Got woken up at 5:45 with a good baby wollerin' and we just played the rest of the day (with a good deal of moving/taking turns keeping her occupied mixed in ) She's still absolutely perfect and I'm totally smitten (yet completely objective about her perfection ) I'm so happy to have them back in-state so we can get together more!On the diet front, I did pretty well to have been on the road basically 75% of the last couple days. Wrote everything down so I could (and did ) put it in Fitday this am. Cals were right on, but carbs were probably closer to pre-maintenance/maintenance levels, but I'm ok with that in a travel situation - I usually just use it as an excuse to eat whatever I want ) Weight's been stable round 177 so I'm going to have another pre-maintenance type day today then go pretty clean eating to try to drop some more weight. My TTC info: DH (30) and I (28 - almost 29) have been TTC #1 for approx 2y3m. I'm about CD11 this month, but taking a month off TTC to move (3 weeks ) (which means absolutely nothing to my brain - I'll still be thinkin "what ifs" in about 7 days ) Hope everyone's having a good weekend! ![]()

Hey Kat- Nice to have ya back! It gets lonely here when you gals go on your travels! It sounds like you had a great time- nothing like a baby crying at 5:45 am, huh?? Good luck with your move- I just did that in August and I know how stressful it is. Very exciting but stressful. Post some pics if you get a chance- I bet you are just dying to get in there!
I am trying to stay positive but you know it is so darn hard sometimes! (me stomping, venting and pouting) I am starting to wonder if it was meant to be, ya know?? sigh.... We shall see what tomorrow brings. Have a fabulous Sunday!! |

crying? Not my baby! I meant wollerin as in snugglin. Sorry, I forget that you all aren't just right around the corner sometimes
I guess it's kinda Southern slange or maybe I just make up words She and mama (carrying the bean that'll be here in October ![]() ) crawled in bed with us (me and my BFF - the three of us are a 3 stooges version of the 3 muskateers, if that makes any sense, ... and I accept that it probably doesn't ). We just snuggled the baby, she's very lovable ![]() I know it can be hard to stay positive we're all here for ya!Last edited by LuckyKitty : 03-02-2008 at 09:36 AM. |

Hmm...I'm from the south and even I was confused....
Glad you're back Kat!! We all missed you! Belle - those socks are cute - I liked how they showed them in one picture on a baby - it makes them look even cuter! Getting ready to leave for the BBQ. We went grocery shopping and cleaned up the house some. I'm pretty sore today from weeding yesterday morning. Checked the mailbox hoping that the OPKs would be there from yesterday since we didn't get the mail yesterday and they still aren't here. So far the site is not highly recommended considering it said free 2 day delivery and it's now been 7 days... I'll try to check in later but if I don't, I'll see you all tomorrow. |

Hey Everyone! This thread has been mighty busy!
Well here's my TTC story: Well I'm 19 and DH just turned 20. Our son Jonathan will be 3 in August ![]() Gosh, time flys!!!. I was a not so perfect teenager and ended up pregnant at 16 (not in a relationship). I met my Dh a few months after I found out. It was love at first sight! I told him I was pregnant and we stuck through the roller coaster ride of being teen parents (Jonny's 'sperm donor' has never been involved and never wants to be, he believes Robbie is his father and Robbie is on the Birth Certificate). We got married in October of 06 and began 'trying' (not preventing). I track my periods but besides that we just don't prevent. Hoping to drop some weight and then begin trying a little harder.

Good morning ladies! Off to work but had to get online to log my temps. Usually I just write them down and then log them after work but was feeling the urge to make a quick trip to the computer this morning. Gotta run off to work now....
Belle - I checked on your temps this morning. It looks like it may be rebounding... See you all later. |

Good Morning ladies,
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was awesome! Sat. I went to San Antonio with a friend to get her taxes done, then went to my parents for my mom's birthday. Yesterday... I did some packing for the move and cleaned up around the house. I fried the fish we caught in Corpus..I took a pic so I'll have to post it tomorrow. I put it in an egg wash and "battered" with parmesan cheese. It is so good! TTC info- I am 27 years old, no children, married 3 1/2 years to the most wonderful amazing man. We are trusting and waiting on the Lord to bring us our first beautiful baby (or first and second if it's twins) Hugs to everyone!!!! I'll catch up later!

Christina - Woot! Great job, hon
KUTGW!Belle - If you could figure out why some cycles feel so different than others, you'd be a millionaire! I'm still you're feeling different cause of your intuition. How long are your LPs usually, are we getting close to officially being late?Mel - your fish sounds yummy! Can't wait to see pics Amber - sometimes I just make up words Drives DH up a wall I've been thinkin about it and I think that one comes from pigs "wollerin" in the dirt. (or again, maybe just from my twisted mind ) Can't believe the OPKs still aren't there. I'd be about to raise a stink Have a good day at work!I'm basking in the glory of having a whole week with no scheduled meetings I've been so busy lately that my office looks like a tazmanian devil lives here Time to dig in...If anyone is a Myspacer and is so inclined, here's a link to my house progress pics; friend me while you're there! |
