Due Sept!!!!!!!!!!

My baby is measuring at 3lb 4oz so Dr said we should expect a big baby...
DH was 10lb and I was 7
I am 28 weeks, she is measuring at 30 weeks, I have gained 4 lbs total and know now it is all baby...
Do you guys feel weird about having to give birth to something that is so close and dear? I like having my baby close and laugh at her kicks and hiccups it will feel foreign not to have her inside....

Wow, only 4 lbs and you're at 28 weeks!! Very impressive! I'm not even going to say how much I've already gained at only 16 weeks. It's very upsetting.

Yes, it is quite a drastic difference to hold your heart outside your body, but once that little one gets here, you'll feel like that's exactly what you're doing. I do love being pregnant, but getting to enjoy all the first smiles, and coos and steps and all the other firsts life has to offer just can't compare.

Thanks! I lost weight at the beginning of preg. so I think that attributes to my slow weight gain, but I am happy because my body shape has changed and 4lbs feels like 12....
I am sure the change is drastic...I am finally looking forward to seeing the little one on the outside, I wonder when I am going to realize that I have to go through labor before I meet her....It hasn't hit me yet, lol.
I purchased a Dutailier glider off Craigslist for 100$ with pink cushions....I don't know what the difference is between this and a glider I could get at Target, but I am loving it, especially the pink!
I am in week 29 today and my back has just started spasming, Do you guys find sometimes the book (WTEWYE) is right on cue with some of the pregnancy symptoms?

YEA!! Good luck with everything! Hope baby comes quickly and easily.

I'm measuring 40 weeks now, but only supposed to be 35. My last u/s said that he was around 6 pounds (at 32 weeks) so we're looking at going early or having a 10 pounder!! I don't know if I'm ready for that, but I guess it's up to him isn't it?!?!

I'm trying to get things ready for him to be home, but it seems impossible. Too much going on... too little time...

Thanks for the support ladies, you wouldn't believe I'm sitting with case packed and my husband is stuck in traffic LOL. If this was my first kid I'd be doing back flips. I went to the video store got 2 movies and have packed the dvd player, I'm claiming this as a vacation - denial? maybe? Talk to you when I'm a mommy of 4.

Hope everything went smoothly, mrs. I. You know we'll want pics of that little one.

Ok, had my check up last Thursday. Looks like my "big" ultrasound is scheduled for the 26th. We'll check in on baby and find out the gender.

Hope everyone else had a great weekend.

Doing good here. I haven't been as sick today as I have been this past week. Finally, a little break.

I have my first US on the 27th. Can't wait!

I know my first 3 months were killer this time around It has just now started easing up a bit, but there are still some foods I stay far, far away from.

I'm anxious for my U/S next week. I'm ready to see my little one again.

Hearing the baby's heartbeat for the first time is extraordinary.
I left feeling like a different person that day, like more of a woman. Not that having a baby justifies womanhood, but it sure made me feel special.
As far as the sickness goes, mine lasted for 18 weeks but past that things have been good.

SunLovin, have you had any feelings about what the gender could possibly be? I felt the whole time I was having a girl and when the official ultrasound came around I wasn't too surprised when the tech said it was defn a little girl.

I have been winded this week and have sore leg muscles, I also feel like I have gained 5 lbs, but I think it is only 2....all in the diaphragm area so I guess that would have to do with the breathing issue.

Yes, hearing that heartbeat for the first time does kind of make it "real" for me each time, but seeing that little one on the monitor moving around, kicking, sucking it's thumb is just undescribable. I can't wait for next Thursday.

I haven't really thought about the gender much. I mean, everyone keeps asking if we want a boy since we already have 3 girls, but honestly, I wouldn't have the first clue about raising a little boy. So, either way we'll be happy.

I guess I haven't been a good reader because I didn't know you had 3 girls, HOW SPECIAL!! Does it get on your nerves that people assume you want a boy as opposed to just a healthy baby?
My DH is extremely "manly", fishes, plays football, etc so everyone figured he was upset we were having a girl, Even his own mother asked me how DH took "the news", makes me want to roll my eyes, I don't know how many times he has had to say, "I am just wanting a healthy baby!"/////sorry ranting/////

This last US the baby's thighs were so cute sometimes that is all I can think about when she is kicking me 3-4 hours straight....

Do you have a strong feeling either way about what the sex of the baby is? I have a very strong feeling it's a boy. Alex and I even refer to the baby as "Ian". I can't explain it, we just feel it.

I also had a feeling that dd was a girl.

ETA: I'm just 2 months and already my cloaths are getting tight on my stomach and I need a new bra. I'm not gaining wait (thank God) but it seems very early to be having tight close and such.

Rogue~ One of our girls, the oldest, is a tomboy all the way. She goes hunting and fishing with her dad, plays football in the yard, and both my older girls took up softball this year and DH coached their team. He's not missing out on any of the "boy" stuff as far as I can see.

He wouldn't be disappointed either way. The two older girls are his by adoption, and our baby, the 2 y/o is ours together. He adores all of his girls and would be just as happy if we had another girl. But yeah, the family "insisting" that we must have a little boy is getting old.

Redhead~ I don't really get a "vibe" one way or the other. I catch myself saying "he" when refering to the baby, but I don't really sense anything either way. We are having a very difficult time agreeing on a girls name, so we are waiting until after Thursday before we really get into figuring that out. If we need a girls name, we've got time. If we don't, then so be it. We've already got our boy's name picked out so we're good there.

Oh, and with this being your second, you will begin to show earlier. I started showing right around 2 1/2 months. Just a little pooch of a belly, but it was there. Right now, I'm about the same size I was at 7 months with my first, and I'm only 4 1/2 months right now. And mine is also not really weight gain. Surprisingly, at my last doctors appt I'd only gained 8 lbs total.

Hi
I'm back from delivery with my 7Lb baby boy Chase Henry! The induction went well only 15 mins of pushing however he was facing up (back labor) so I gladly took the drugs and called it a day - I thought I'd stop waddling by now however the "roids" from pushing are so bad that I still walk like i'm 9 months!

He's adorable!!!! Congratulations and Baby Chase!!!

My youngest was born "sunny side up" and the back labor was awful!! My oldest two I had without epidural, but I was begging for the drugs with my youngest. That was the worst paid I'd ever had!!

Hope you're recovering quickly. Thanks for popping in and updating us!!
