Hi all!

I finally got some answers from my RE.

My RE is about 2.5 hours away so my local OB does a lot of the care and tests and coordinates with the RE. With my recent events of last week and the d & c and results from it, the OB did not communicate any of that with the RE's office. I had been leaving messages on the RE's nurses voicemail who apparently was on vacation. I was seriously getting frustrated because I wasn't getting anywhere.

Today, out of the blue, the RE called me herself. "Hi Nicole, this is Dr. Reuter calling. I was just checking with you to see how things were progressing with your pregnancy and how you were feeling."

Poor doc had no idea. lol

So, I got to fill her in and she had some great responses and was able to explain to me why it's ok to proceed with an FET as early as August. She also said that she really isn't worried about recurrent m/c with me since I have been able to carry three already. She said that this was more likely a genetic issue and that my other m/c's were back in the 1990's before I had my last baby. So, she is recommending that we continue on and let the process unfold.

The FET will be early August. On CD1 I will start on estrogen and I will also have PIO shots every day for about 10 days. I'll be able to schedule the FET according to my schedule which is great. It was a big concern of mine because August is a BUSY month at work. I need my transfer to not fall close to a weekend. And, we will transfer three this time.

It just feels good to have answers.

Comments or thoughts about any of that?

Hanky is doing fine! His/her heart starts beating this week! I am praying everything turns out okay, I am very aware that things could turn quickly. I am getting heartburn and am constipated. No complaints from me though, I wouldn't trade it for the world! I have decided that if I get morning sickness, I will thank God every time I throw up even!

I can't believe your OB office was so poor at communicating! Oh well, at least you got some good feedback and a plan for August! I am so excited for you! What kind of work do you do?

I have only told my sister (who is 6 mos. pregnant with her first), my best friend, and a co-worker. We are waiting to tell everyone else until our annual lake trip Aug 8-12. It's going to be so hard to wait that long, but we just want to be cautious with the good news!

I am a retail manager in a very busy women's clothing store. We are headed to our back-to-school season and we get super busy since we are in a college town and sell jeans and trendy tops, etc. I stay busy at work and am on my feet all day long. I like it...for the most part. The job and the people are great it's just kind of hard to sustain that kind of energy level all of the time and stay all day, every day . lol

I have question - Can you get pregnant on induction? Is it bad to get pregnant on induction? I'm inducting right now and my husband and I are TTC. DH is semi-inducting. Semi b/c he had 2 cupcakes at my parents' house last night. Ummm...yeah.

Anyway, I was just curious what your experiences were.

Hi ladies,
Well according to fertility friend I have ovulated and I am in the TWW. I am going to the doc on thursday for lab work to see if I have actually ovulated. Fertility friend says that if I did O our BD time was good. I'll keep you posted.

I was on induction when I got pg, I think it actually helped by keeping my insulin levels normal. I just increased my carbs once I got the BFP.

Where is everyone?????

I am still doing well, 5 more days until my 1st appointment! I am crampy, nauseous (but have not gotten sick), very tired, sore boobs, ACNE (not good for an esthetician to have). I had some very minimal brown spotting a couple days ago, other than that, nothing new with me. Someone needs to pop in and say hi, I check the thread every day and I need someone to talk to

Good luck Mel, keep us posted!

Sorry gang, the 4th had me busy because we were trying to get the house ready for a party. We are rehabbing an old Victorian and I had a list that I wanted to finish before people came over so I was hardly on my computer at all.

Also, just so you know what's going on with me...I work full time as mentioned before plus I am in school full time. I take my classes online, but they take a lot of my time. Plus I have the kids and the hubby. So, sometimes it will be a few days before I can pop back in for a visit.

Will they do an u/s PO? That first appt is so exciting. It can be kind of anticlimatic, though. You are all geared up for it and then it's over...and then nothing for a month. LOL Let us know how it goes!

Mel...prayers for you. The TWW is so hard! KUP!!!

SB...how's induction going?

Good to hear from you Nic! Looks like you are doing great with your weight loss! August is gonna be here before you know it!!!

For my 1st appt, the nurse said we just do a lot of paperwork and Q&A type stuff. I am not sure if they'll do an internal exam so I will make sure I am *ahem* groomed just in case. I will also do a urine test and bloodwork. When I go on Aug. 13th, they will check the heartbeat, but I assume if anything is abnormal it will show with my bloodwork so I am just trusting God.

Hey Ladies!!

I took not getting preggo last month pretty darn hard. I have been off plan like an idiot for too long. I am back on the wagon today and feel strong and ready to do this. Here we go!

As for TTC....well- I think we are just going to take a break. I have an appt with my OB on Thursday. No bding this cycle for us, so no TWW for me everything happens for a reason, I suppose....

Life has just been sucky lately and I don't like to spread my misery.

Po- Can't wait to hear all about your appt! Will be fun to hear Hanky's heartbeat (too funny still)

Nic- You sound like a very busy , motivated woman! You go girl!

Mel- how's it going in the TWW?? hangin in there? for you

Hope everyone is doing good

Well- change my comment about no BDing hehe I think it was too late though. Yesterday I had some red spotting when I wipe which happens occasionally when it is O time. I had EWCM today and have been a bit crampy..so maybe it wasn't too late! I am not going to obsess though (but it will be in the back of my mind)

Day one of induction went fine- preparing for induction headache tomorrow....fun

Okay Ladies- where are ya? Now that I am back I need someone to stress with

Good for you Belle on the BDing!!! I will keep my fingers crossed for ya! I'm sorry you took last month hard, I certainly understand, I was getting very down and discouraged for the few months before my BFP. If you still had EWCM, that is a great sign!

Well, Nic, you were right...my first visit was very anticlimatic After waiting for 45 minutes, we just did some paperwork, detailed health history, bloodwork, urine sample and that's it, not even a pelvic exam (that will happen at the next appt.).

They typically don't check hcg levels with the bloodwork for some reason, but after I asked, the went ahead and ordered it, I am supposed to call tomorrow afternoon for the results.

How is everyone?

Go Hanky!!! So happy for you Po How have you been feeling?

Well, I am having some issues over here....here is my story- on Sunday I had a lil bit of spotting- only when I wiped and just a few times. Now, this normally happens during O time. We BD on Monday morning and ever since, I have been spotting more than usual. I actually got a spot on my panties and at one point Tuesday, I had a glob (sorry TMI warning) of EWCM mixed with blood. Very weird. I am a bit concerned because it seems more than usual. I have been doing research and I calmed myself down because it seems to be a very normal thing. I am just surprised by it....anyone have any experience?

I am kind of ruling out our odds this month due to timing...but that is okay- I have switched my focus to losing weight for now.

Any other reports Ladies?

Where are my Ladies???!!!

I am still spotting and feel sore "down there"- weird...I am not happy about the spotting- it is making me very nervous. It doesn't feel like there is any end in sight!

I have been doing loads of research since the doc doesn't have any appt. right away (although if things continue like this, I am going to make them see me!)- some ideas are low progestrone....could just be normal ovulation spotting but it is more than I have ever experienced.

I just don't know...I am very annoyed.... could we have done some kind of damage while BDing??

Help Ladies!!!

BelleI'm sorry, hun, I don't know what to tell you! When you say you are sore, can you describe it? Is it at your cervix? If your cervix is sore, it's possible that it is irritated and bleeding just a little (sometime would happen to me after, ahem, "enthusiastic" BDing). I kind of doubt it is low progesterone because that usually shows up in the luteal phase by spotting in the 2ww.

I'm not saying this to get your hopes up, but is it possible you actually got pg last month but had a period anyways? Hey, it happened to my best friend so it could be a possibility. Keep us posted and if things don't improve definitely go see your doc!

Oops, I was assuming you hadn't O'd yet because of the EWCM you had on Tuesday. Has your CM dried up now? I wish I had some advice for you

I know you have tried temping before and it is really hard for you to be consistent, but that could really hold a lot of clues as to what may be going on. For example, I will post my chart. If you look at my first month, you will see that my temp rises briefly to confirm O, but then drops down to the coverline; that can indicate low progesterone (even if you don't have spotting). Low progesterone can also be indicated if your luteal phase is 10 days or less, do you know how many days you typically have before AF arrives? If you look at my other months, especially the last 3 when I was on Clomid, my progesterone was much higher (i.e. higher temps, longer LP). Does that make sense at all? I know it's a lot of info....

Everything is a big blur right now.. maybe i never O'd- I did have EWCM on the 9th (was that Tuesday? haha) in the morning but then it dried up. Sunday/Monday was lots of EWCM.

Something is definately up....it is no longer just spotting- I used a pad last night and it was pretty soaked in the morning. It was weird becuz when I got up from bed, I literally could feel it run out of me (sorry TMI). Today I wore a tampon from 10 until 1 and it was pretty full when I changed it. I took my temp this morning and it wad 97.1 which is the range after O. Before O is normally high 96's. I am going to call the doctor's office...

Thanks for your thoughts Po!!

Belle: here's a thought, if you temp is normally in the high 96's pre-O and low 97's post-O, you may be hypothyroid. You might ask to get a thyroid panel done, it can definitely affect fertility.
