Endometriosis WORSENS?

Hello all...

I have suffered from endometiosis for 4 years. I have had it surgically removed 2x. It forms on my stomach wall, under the area I had insicions for My Cesarean and tummy tuck. Normally I only have intermittant pain at TOM. I have been prescribed darvocet for pain, but let my RX Lapse because I do not like being on the meds and after awhile it just doesn't work as well.

Anyways 4 days into Induction I got TOM....ever since I have had severe intense pain in my usual area. It hurts to cough, bend over, sneeze, change positions in bed and even when Im just lying down.

I will contact my Dr. Tomorrow, but I wonder if it's due to Atkins?

I don't think so, though any change in diet can change the way your body reacts and the changes in hormones...

I just found out yesterday I have to have surgery for this.....what was this like for you?

Sorry I didn't respond quicker...I sometimes "lose" threads.

The Surgery went well. I went in on the am of my surg had a Cat scan, they located the Endo and did a "needle Loc" Meaning they stick a needle in where the Endo was. Then they made a 1/2 inch incision and removed it. They then did a Biopsy to make sure it was endometriosis. It was. Mine grew back. I don't know why...It took about a year. The surgery wasn't horrible compared to others I've had it was relatively easy. YMMV. Good LUCK!!!
