The Menopause Diet (??)

I am perimenopausal and was searching the internet and came across this bit of information - has anyone ever read about this and the effects of menopause on weight? I welcome your comments.

Interesting site re: menopause and weight gain:

P.S. - I am an Atkinites forever and this is in NO WAY to divert anyone from their weight loss plan - but it is strictly information for those with "Carbohydrate Sensitivity." I have posted questions about the effects of weight gain and menopause but have not received any responses. While surfing the internet for carbohydrate sensitivity . . . I came across this informative site. Maybe it can shed some light on those in this situation (as I am) about the UPs and DOWNs of weight. We're NOT going crazy, it is our hormones.
