S-L-O-W Cycles, not PCOS
I was poked and prodded and blood tested for 2 full months last year for irregular cycles, and the diagnosis is that I don't have PCOS. . just borderline "normal" numbers on my hormone labs. Doc did not diagnose me with PCOS, but did give me a prescription for progestin if the periods did go back to being irregular. Well, here it is, day 39 of my cycle and nothing!!
So, I do NOT want to take the progestin, anybody have any ideas what could be wrong? Thyroid also tested "normal" though my nurse friend reminded me that what is normal for the general public may not be normal for me.

Wow, that's a stumper? did he check you thyroid? and with the right tests? I know a lot of women have lots of weird side effects when thyroid is off, and the basic tests won't always catch it.Hope you can get it figured out! |
