Spotting between periods

I am on the pill, and 2 weeks into my pack. I started spotting and light bleeding. I think I may have skipped a day taking my pill. For eaxample, I didn't take one on Saturday, but I took Saturday's on Sunday and I've been a day off since then. I took 2 yesterday to catch up. Would that cause spotting?

Light spotting on occasion isn't usually a problem, but if it continues you should at least talk to your doctor as the prescription might not be right for you.

When you said you took 2 pills yesterday, do you mean at the same time? If so, this is not the correct thing to do. When you realise you missed a dose you can take it late, but if it's close to the time for your next dose you should just take the one and forget about the missed one.

When I was on Ortho Lo and another one I spotted between my periods. After I changed BC pills it went away.

It's nothing to worry about, but if it keeps happening and it's annoying you (I ruined some underwear) then you could bring it up with your DR and change pills
